6:23p - Excerpts from my paper for Unspoken Narratives
Well, my paper on multiraciality is finished. The first third of it is great, the middle third of it is mediocre, and the third third is really not much to brag about. I don't actually write the nice conclusion that I made in my head. Overall, I think the paper is pretty good, but I would like to revise it when I have more time.

Here are some highlights. )
____________

As you can see, this ends weakly, but I have a lot to say about the future as well. I'm pretty optimistic that the multiracial majority of the 21st century, unlike the multiracial majority of the 20th century that we currently have, will be self-consciously multiracial. It would, unfortunately, have taken another day and made my paper more like 30 pages long.

Thoughts? Should I post this to the multiracial communities on LJ that I use as evidence in my paper?

current mood: busy
current music: Someone else's copy of Black Hole Sun. I love streaming MP3s on iTunes 4.

7:58p - I found an inside joke
According to the Klingon version of Google Language Tools, the names of the languages "Xhosa" and "Zulu" in Klingon are "STEPHEN HALES AND MARCI JO LAUNGAYAN TOGETHER."

Edit: Hmm, and in this Persian translation – for those who don't know, these are done by individuals who sign up for a language for the most part – of "Xhosa" and "Zulu" are (written in Roman letters) "infidel" and "natali." For the former, someone interestingly retranslated the Arabic-derived Boer term for South African blacks, "kaffir" back to "infidel." The later one means "from Natal."
