11:44p - Awkward Tip Situation
My roommate, RA, and I went to Little Frankie's Pizza this evening. The service was rather slow and the waiter had an attitude like he was bothered with us being there. We decided to give him a 10% tip. We left to go home, and when we had turned around the corner from First Avenue to Second Street, someone came up behind us shouting "excuse me." First my RA turned around and then I did, to see the waiter, who explained that when he gets less than a 15% tip, he is "supposed to ask the customers why," presumably to report to his boss. That was very awkward. We made up some excuse about just not having any more cash than that and went away not really feeling like ever returning to the restaurant.
At least the dinner will quite likely be reimbursed by hall funds.
