life is a shirt that you threw on the ground and stepped on.
life is a dirty smelly shirt that you smeared in the mud and stepped on.
life is a beautiful white shirt covered in red paint and spit on.
life is your favorite shirt that is two sizes to small.
but you were in that shirt all along.
and you were lost
and clean. you smelled like watermelon.
it made us all hopeful.
we all wanted watermelon.
and there it was, this shirt that tortured our tastebuds.
and your shoulders carried the shirt away one day.
and my hopes dropped.
there was nothing to look foward to at all.
there was no "us", no"we"... no watermelon. just a shirt.
just this shirt that made me want to curse.
but i didnt. and i kept my hopes up.
and then all of the sudden, there was no need to.
because
hope is found in places like the good will store.
