I just finished the web job i'm been working on for pay, Not really finished finished but Its up and running well enough till I get back and make final adjustments. I'm very excited at having finished it, I'm so bad at finishing anything let alone things where I am my own supervisor that its very rewarding not to have screwed this up. 1400 lines of code so far and more to be added upon my return. Neuropoint is still around but i've been focusing on this other project so I havent had much time to work on it. Plus nobody goes there anymore so thats even less motivation. I've coded for at least 20 hours in the last 48 so I am gonna cut this off before I get too rambly but hopefully I'll have a good update and pictures when i get back on the 21st. I spent at least 2 hours around the time the sun was coming up trying to figure out multi-dimensional arrays but in the end it was worth it. I ended up with a framework for some really cool new features for neuropoint. Speaking of neuropoint, it should be noted that neuropoint.net is now neuropoint.us due to issues with renewing the .net domain. So if you have an account that’s where you go to log in, If you don’t and you are interested in new community sites you should check it out. |

On a more miraculous (at least for me) note, I've (kinda) met someone. Someone smart and funny, Someone I have a lot in common with, Someone cute and interesting. And someone who makes all my personal rules about avoiding internet crushes seem irrelevant. Really though, what fun are personal rules if there isn’t something worth breaking them for. I'm going to Denver over spring break (April 14th-20th) to visit which actually works out for other reasons. I have an old old oldschool IRC friend from Denver who wont live there soon so I'll finally get to hang out with him and just in the nick of time. I guess thats all I really have for now. |

The project is coming along really well I think but I'm not quite ready to open it up for public testing. Be watching for it in the coming month though. As for me and my life, I almost made it back to Marietta... in fact I did make it back to Marietta but then my mom called and told me she still had projects for me at her house even though I had already told her I was leaving when the deck was finished. So anyway, now I’m back in Kennesaw. |

Sorry, Had to get that out of my system, I've been working on completely redoing the network in my moms house all day, running cat5 from a closet to 5 rooms, installing a power outlet in the closet crimping ends on the cat5 (which is definitely not as much fun as I had always expected) and now I’m sick of the whole thing. All I have left to do tomorrow is move all the hardware (router, DSL modem and hub) upstairs into the closet and I’ll be done with it unless I did something horribly wrong today. I've also been working on a major new web project and making pretty good progress considering I'm working on it by myself and I no longer have the adderall to make me focus. I'm pretty excided about it and even if it doesn’t work out at least its a good way to get my coding skills back up to par so I can make another attempt at making some money in the freelance web development field. On the web dev subject, I do have one other project that I'm about to pick up, it'll be a probono job but it could very well lead to more work, both in web dev and networking down the road. The contractor, a friend of my moms, who I’m working with on the house is starting to worry about what he’s going to do for work when he finishes here (he got laid off right before he started here and turned down an offer to get his job back to continue working for my mom) so he wants to get a page up that will hopefully get him some business. On top of possible referrals for web business he is interested in doing some networking so if he gets and jobs involving networking he'd subcontract me at least for a few jobs so I could teach him. Other than that not much is new, still counting the projects left before I can get the fuck out of Kennesaw, no major fights with my mom lately but I’m just sick of being stuck out in the country. Oh yeah, and cordy died :(((( |

We all knew this day would come, and now it has. With thousands of slayers wandering around a few of them had to show up on angel eventually. Its interesting to find out that the scoobies don’t trust angel anymore but I must admit that I'm getting a bit sick of the constant "did we do the right thing" gloom over the W&H move. No doubt there will be plenty of brooding now that angel knows Buffy is "against him" but hopefully something interesting will come of it also. As for myself not much is going on lately. Still working on moms house but that should be all finished soon since all we really have left to do is paint the outside of the house, paint a few rooms inside and build a deck on the back. Maybe another 2-3 weeks depending on weather. I did finally decide my hair was long enough for dying. Its now black, I would have gone with a more fun color but already having fairly dark hair and not wanting to shoot myself in the foot for getting "respectable" jobs kinda ruled out a lot of options. I like the black though, its the color I used to keep it last time I had long hair (the super angsty 15-17 years) and plus I think its really more just about *having* dyed hair than what color its dyed. ( New hair calls for creepy glares ) |

I'm back at my moms house, which is not where I actually live but I keep ending up calling it home for simplicity sake. The trip back was anything but smooth, We left in the middle of rush hour, took every wrong turn we could find and ended up having to stop in valdosta to bum money off chris' mom to make it home. All together it took just over 12 hours to make the 7 hour trip but it was still fun. I'm pretty sleepy right now and I’ll probably have to work today so I'm gonna catch some Zs but maybe I'll recap the trip later. |

| The random florida trip has been pretty fun so far. We're staying with a friend of chris' in winter park. Looks like we'll probably be heading back to ga tomorrow sometime durring the day. Somehow my laptop screen got a big crack in it just after we got into town which i'm pretty bummed about but I think i can get it fixed for free since it's still under warranty. | |||
