Okay...so I haven't updated in a week. Sigh...so much has happened I don't even know where to start. Hmmm...okay...first off was International Night last Sunday. I was pretty stressed out the week before it coz we still didn't have a proper skit. On Saturday afternoon Me, Karin, Mary, Chris and Preema cooked our stairway dish, which was chicken curry. Big thanx to Preema for being such a helpful darling. She's not even from my stairway. Later that night, Me, Jill, and Anthony re-wrote Dale's script and came up with something that was decently funny I guess. The three of us practised till about 1am and called it quits then.

The next day was pretty hectic. I was running around for reasons even I can't remember. We did 2 hours worth of modification and practise with everybody (Me, Karin, Chris, Dale, Mary, Jill, and Anthony) in the skit. Basically the skit is based on the TV show E.R. and I play the part of Gaylore Dang Wang Ching Chong Focker the nurse who is also an illegal asian immgirant from Dimsim Land. My vocabulary was limited to "Ho!" and segmented Chinese Malaysian English. It was loads of fun to practise. We even had a little choreographed YMCA dance at the end. While we were practising, Preema again saved my balls by offering to help fry the roti canai. I really owe her now. Poor girl sacrificed her make-up time to help me. You da best la girl!

Hmmm...I should mention at this point that I wasn't exactly in the best condition at the time. I had 2 assignments due on Friday and had severly underestimated one of them. The result was stress and 3 hours of sleep. Didn't get much rest on Saturday either. Somehow I managed to pull through it all.

The night itself was absolutely FANTASTIC. I spent the night switching between taking pics and acting as the stage manager. Almost nothing went wrong. The food was great (even though I didn't eat much) and the performances were excellent. All the stairway skits were top notch. Judi herself said that this has been International Night yet (there have only been 3 including this one so far). Our act went really well, xcept for the bit where I forgot to give the soundguy our CD. I sang as well that night, I did an acepella "Negaraku" in honor of Malaysia's National Day, STP's "Plush", and Utada Hikaru's "First Love" which I did with Preema.

I received the best compliment that night from Sayaka who's from Japan. She said that I touched her when I sang "First Love". I was like whoa. That's like amazing. Me and Preema don't even know japanese. We just memorised the song. Ayako and Shohei both said that our pronounciation was very good. They could understand what we were singing perfectly. Thanx to the excellent soundguy, everybody sounded really good that night. He just knows his shit and weaved musical magic that night.

Cleaning up later was a breeze and we were done within an hour. A fantastic night!

Besides that, the night before (Saturday) we all had a big makan session at Blok M in Chapel. Preema, Pete, Keong, Tim, Aida, Hanim, Jaime, Puipui, Nick, Andrea, and Rio all came for dinner. Its been awhile since we all got together (we were still missing Jo and Marvyn tho) so I was real happy I managed to go. Jill was nice enough to work with Anthony on the skit while I go for dinner. The food at Blok M was excellent!

This week has been filled with Warcraft III (Keong got me hooked. Stoopid fucker.) and my assignment. Well, the assignment occupied the later part of the week la. Managed to get it done at the cost of some sleep and now I'm here typing this update. Today I need to see Jodie abt chairing the RA meeting on Monday and later tonite I'm on-call. Neverending siut.
