I don't feel my best today. It probably has to do with my little talk with Judi yesterday. Judi's my College Head here at Richo Hall and is basically my boss. She wasn't too happy with the fact that I skipped the Mock Wedding last week. You see, I'm the Richo Hall photographer and I was supposed to be on-hand to take pics that nite. The photography bit totally slipped my mind and I thought that missing the wedding wouldn't be that bad. I instead decided to go grocery shopping with Keong in Clayton. Just as I was unloading our shit from the car, I bumped into my Senior RA and my Deputy College Head. Great. I didn't really understand the what I had gotten myself into at that moment, but now I that I think of it, I did feel like an odd vibe from the both of 'em. Anyway, Judi was kinda extra annoyed coz she had called me that night to talk to me, but me being the idiot I am I didn't check my msgs on my room phone for a couple of days. When I finally did check my msges, it was already Friday. I finally talked to her yesterday and she told me what I needed to hear I gues. Its all good now, and I'm kinda glad that they tell me shit now rather then surprise me and fire me later. We worked it out and now I just feel shitty coz I feel like I screwed up. We live and learn I guess. Hehe...I went to the office straight away after that to check up all the dates of upcoming functions that might present a photo opportunity. I've managed to cook up some stuff for my portfolio so that's sorta covered. I wanna do more tho. My main concern now is International Nite which is this coming Sunday. Sigh. On a lighter note, I went to the comic shop and spent ALOT of money. I won't mention figures coz it's just too painful. I bought Warlands: Atrelegis, which allows me to read my Warlands: The Age of Ice, New X-Men Volume 2: Imperial, and New X-Men Volume 3: New Worlds. God I'm such a comic freak. I managed to have lunch with Jaime and Hanim, at the best ikan panggang place in the world. It's called Block M and its on Commercial Road, off Chapel Street. Hanim came back with me to Clayton, and I worked on her clip she's using for an upcoming presentation. She shot all the clips and I basically added a song and put 'em all together. Managed to get that done so that's settled. Aida came into my room saying that her laptop has been infected with 150 viruses (later found out that it was 150 infections). Dr. Keong came over and helped fix her laptop. I think she's gonna have to have everything re-installed. Her laptop was really screwed up. Hmm...I better get back to work. |

Whew. What a load of my chest. I managed to secure a soundguy for this Sunday, and he's the same one we have every year for International Nite. I was kinda lucky coz it's a week away and coincidentaly he was free Sunday nite. I also managed to get a price list for some hot food bars we need for the food that night. I'm supposed to look thru last years records to check how much we spent on that last year. Tash (my SRA) sounded quite relieved when she heard that there was progress concerning the soundguy and the hot food bars. She was getting REAL worried. Now I just have to worry bout my 2 assignments due this Friday (I think) and maybe shorten my to-do list. I'm watching Rockstar with Preema tonite. The movie sounded interesting and Preema likes Marky Mark. Manda dropped by Halls today. She passed my a cd containing the recordings I did with Luke in the past month. It had a band version of "Summertime", an acoustic version of "Summertime" with only me and Cece, and my solo recording of "Long White Dress". I liked the echo and reverb Luke used on my voice but I'm not so sure whether the same thing worked for Cece. Anyway, time to makan! |
