It was like... wow. No, really, like WOW. Sitting back and watching everyone else posing left me with a sense of total awe. Brilliant, really. Brilliant. And everyone got along, from what I could see, and participated to the best of their abilities. There were a few complaints and misconceptions before the whole thing started, but once everyone got a groove going, the roleplay flowed like water.
I was sorry that I didn't take part, but you know... it was worth it to just sit back and be an audience for once. I'm truly amazed at the talent we have on the MUX.
And getting two new players in one day was kinda cool, too. ^-^

Well, I'm almost done reading The Return of the King. Faramir is the KEENEST character! I'm a bit disappointed in the movie version now. They turned him into an asshole. O_O And Eowyn, god damn that girl has balls! I do hope that the next movie will include some of this. I seriously love this last part of the series, it's actually got quite a bit of action to it. I admit... The Fellowship of the Ring was pretty dry. The Two Towers got better, but Return of the King is just smoking. I see so much more characterization, motivation and description that the others. I felt horrid at how Denethor treated Faramir, and I really really felt the tension between Denethor and Gandalf. Not to mention poor Pippin and Merry. The hobbits sure do get quite a bit of action, and it makes -sense-, too.
Ah, but anyway... I got my 1000 words done on Moonskin, too. The story is taking new levels that it hadn't before. I'm beginning to delve deeper into the characters of Ruildryn and Ebanu. In fact, I'm starting to really like Ebanu to the point that I empathize with her. She even seems to speak to me, telling me what her motivations are as I type. Why her voice turned cold as Ruildryn lifted Moonskin became obvious. She is in love with him, even though she knows she has no chance of ever being with him. He is the son of a Duke, she is an orphan half-elf of no rank or nobility.
Ruildryn is taking shape, too. I see him as a quiet, and rather introspective type who is unable to accept the worst case scenario. He must believe that it will somehow turn out for the better in the end. Despair to him is crippling. Ebanu provides a more worldly view, even when not asked for it. It is why he is in the Grey Scouts. His father is a stern man, but a sly one. And Ruildryn believes his father does not favor him at all and is ashamed of him.
But I ramble now.

My hours are late. When I log in, I have to attend to fifty gazillion things right off the bat. By the time I get around to some semblence of calm, either everyone is leaving or no one wants to do anything. I've worked so hard lately, pushing my limits to get things done. And then I can't even relax for a bit. There's nothing to do, or no one wants to do anything with me, so I just go right back to work on my projects.
I don't want to be cooped up in the house. But I can't go anywhere, not this late at night.
God I want a normal job again.
And no, I'm not mad at anyone, just frustrated with my situation right now.

I really need to proofread my notes before sticking them up. My brain moves way faster than my fingers do and I say some really silly things sometimes that make me wince. Well, Fluorescent Cage is well on its way. I'm cranking out notes, Trumpet is handling the code work, thanks to Sigurd and Baka we have the site. I'm sure Mastema and Soulcage will help me flesh out what's left. This is gonna be a bit more involved, may take longer to get up, but that's ok. n.n I still have Black Gate to work with, too.
