[13 Feb 2006|08:12pm] so its been a little while. what can i say? trying to work and take 6 classes isnt easy. but i kinda have a lot to say =) ashleigh, you should enjoy this one. to start, robbys new house is pretty cool. we havent hit up xs yet, but we will soon =) i HATE all my classes =( some of them require like no work, but they are so effing boring. italian 4: i have no idea whats going on in that class. if anyone knows how to speak italian and knows the subjunctive and all that, please feel free to contact me. otherwise, my teacher is really nice. i'm late every day ((the class is at 9am and we all know i dont do well with being out of my house before noon..)) and she never yells. art history: MOST BORING CLASS EVER!!!!!!!!!! and it requires 2 trips to the metropolitan museum of art in manhatten..on your own time with your own money!!!! >:O im going on my first trip this friday with greg, and then maybe a little dinner in the city =) psychology: not bad at all. prob the only class i actually enjoy going to. we have 2 quizzes throughout the semester..or maybe 3? but the midterm and final are both open notebook!! =) being that i took this class in cortland and basically have the entire textbook all written down, all i need to do is copy it into my psych notebook for this semester & im set =) plus, he gives bonus points for showing up on random days. the only annoying thing is that we need to sign up for experiments throughout the semester and need to have 6 experiments. some are 1/2 hour, some are 1 hour, some 2. bah. im gonna try to do them all real soon. italian literature: really annoying. we have a reading due each class, with study questions that he posts on blackboard answered and typed up. and random days he collects them and counts them as a quiz, so they need to be done for each class. i dont think there are any tests though. thats good lol philosophy: THIS might actually be the most boring class ever. art history and this class are tied. robby's in this class with me, so at least i have a friend to share the boredom. our teacher just says the same thing 50 different ways and people sit there like, "i dont get it." we think we signed up for a SPED class. we have quizzes every other friday and i think 2 papers due throughout the semester. plus six debates. we have to participate in at least 1. ew. math in the elementary school: this class is fairly easy, and being that my teacher is insane and thinks he can talk to aliens, it goes quickly. its on tuesdays, from 630-820pm. yuck. when it gets nice out it wont be so bad. so thats the whole class run down. so far the only class i havent missed is psychology lol its ok. i wont be absent much. i hate missing class. onto the next topic of discussion. last wednesday, i went to my first ever hockey game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) i had SO much fun!!! TRADER!!!!!!!!!!! friday i hung out with square & robby. got reeeeeeeeeeeally messed up. we have so much fun together. i really love my friends. more than anyone could ever know <3 [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v99/rainangel484/spring06141.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v99/rainangel484/spring06136.jpg[/IMG] [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v99/rainangel484/spring06140.jpg[/IMG] we're freakin awesome!! =) next: tomorrow is valentines day =) i have that stuuuuuuuuuupid math in the elementary school class until 8:20. then i'm going to gregs. hes making me dinner. we're breaking our aunt bella's tradition, but it's ok. trying to save a little money here. plus i get outa class so late. i dunno. bah. he makes a mean alfredo sauce with brocoli though so im really excited. we're not getting each other anything this year, hes just getting a card and his annual rainbow cookies lol well maybe i'll get something cute. small, but cute ;) it snowed sat night. i spent it at gregs. we watched 2 movies and got to sleep forever. yesterday i didnt go to work bc of the snow. we got like....20 inches! effin crazy man. i chilled by gregs all day, dug out my car and gregs. then joes got a flat so we went with uncle joseph and his plow to get him home. all the neighbors were watching. they were, "so you got your own escort service huh?" lol. =) then greg stayed by joes for a little and uncle joseph brought me back to gregs house. i showered and chilled, then ate dinner with the boys when they got back. im so glad joes home. hes so much fun and greg really missed him. i did too. i didnt realize how much we did until he got home. =) anyway, i dropped joe off and then came home. after getting stuck on hillside avenue lol hofstra didnt cancel any classes today, so i was forced to cancel 3 myself O=) does that look like a halo at all? lol oh well.......i got stuck trying to leave my block and the lady behind me started honking like an asshole. i was so mad lol i wanted to get out and be like, "yo asshole..do you see my tires spinning at like 60mph and my car not moving anywhere?" well i finally got out, and then got stuck on the hill by the high school. this is where i learned that higher gears will get u out of snow. it took me like 40 mins to get to school...stuuuuuuupid hofstra. and finally, the main reason for this entry. I FOUND A NEW JOB!!!! its a long story, but brittany t. hooked it up! <333333333333333 it's at bridal catoure on northern blvd and they pay mad good. they close at 5pm every day ((which means no more working saturday nights!!)) and theyre closed on sundays during the summer!!!!!!!!!! =) im SUPER EXCITED!!! im working for 2 hours before i go to the bums on thurs, and for a couple on sat before i go to the bums. after those 2 days, if we work out a good schedule and i like the place, mr. brown & sherlene are getting my 2 weeks notice on sat and waldbaums will just be a thing of the past. i cant waitttt ...im praying that this works out. ive been trying to find a new job for a long time now and if this works out i'll be ecstatic. awesome hours, excellent pay. =) !!!!!!! alright well im off because lisa is coming and we're getting a scrumptious dinner and playing some video games or something bc we're ultra cool like that <3333 how i miss my dirty skank ho. later gator!! 1 comment|post comment

[27 Jan 2006|02:22pm] hey well our vacation is booked! :) bahamas were WAY too expensive...maybe next year. BUT on april 8th, 2006 at 6am, me and greg will be flying out of the country to PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so excited, you dont even know! theee only thing is that i brought my passport application in a couple days ago, so i have nothing to worry about. greg, on the other hand, hasnt brought his in yet. can u imagine if we cant go bc greg doesnt get his passport on time? haha i would kill him. we still have time though. but still. well i was supposed to go to the yellowcard concert w/robby on tuesday, but my throat was bothering me and i didnt wanna make it worse. i really should have gone bc it got worse neway. ive been going to work and afterwards doing nothing but sitting in my house. bah. its really depressing. today im not going to work. i didnt sleep last night, so im gona take a nap soon while watching "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind." :) i wanna head over to hofstra sometime today to pick up my books and buy a notebook bc classes start on monday. beh. hopefully my eyes wont be so puffy tonight. hopefully i'll see my boyfriend tonight. even if i do, it'll only be for a couple hours, he'll prob go home at like 9/10. joes home from the army, so that means for the next couple days or so i wont be seeing much of him. hes not sleeping over this weekend :( bah. anyway, robbys moving into his hofstra house tomorrow!! :) im gonna go over after work to chillililililli!! this is the 3rd hofstra house robbys lived in in the past year lol..oh geez. oh ew, i told my boss i could work tues/thus/sat/sun once the semester starts and she told me that its not busy and she doesnt need me during the day and all this bs. she better give me hours. alright im off to nap for a couple hours then get my butt up and clean my car and all that good stuff. leave me lovely comments post comment

[20 Jan 2006|07:24pm] [ mood | hungry ] [ music | motorcycle - as the rush comes ] hi hi sorry i havent updated. between trying to work & taking 2 winter session classes, ive barely had time to take a shower. well anyway, today was my italian final and i am SO glad that winter session is FINALLY over!!!!! :] you dont even knowwwww ;] couple things that have happened since my last update: 1 - Luisa is now married. thats right. sunday, january 15, 2006 :] i am SO happy for her, dominic is really a great guy and they are absolutly beautiful together. i had so much fun at their wedding. me & greg were dancing the whole time and even won the first round of "which table can sing 'sweet caroline' the loudest" :] we also got the centerpiece. and although i didnt catch the bouqet, i had an awesome time. first wedding that i havent wanted to leave. my only complaint is that uncle tony and zio aldo didnt do their little kicking of the leg thing ((anyone in the family would understand what im talking about...)) oh well. there's always another wedding to look forward to. as for 2006, i have 2 more weddings to attend. raz & liz, and louie and tina, 2 days before my birthday. whiiiiiiich kinda leads to my number 2. 2 - robby is now 21. thats right folks. sunday night at midnight that nigga turned 21. he bought so much alcohol and now has an ID with no red on it :[ sooo not fair. im def never turning 21. ever. 3 - me & robby got tickets for the YELLOWCARD concert on tuesday night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im way excited. he JUST called me likeeee maybe 2 hrs ago asking if i wanted to go. scoreeeeeeee. 4 - my brother beat the crap out of the kid he wrestled today. that kid didnt stand a chance. my bro slammed him on his face so hard, i expected to see the kid come up w/a broken nose or something. andddddddd last but definitely not least: 5 - me and greg have decided on our destination for spring break 2006. -------- the BAHAMA MAMA MAMA'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im pretty sure we're booking our trip tomorrow. i have to get my passport bc ive never had one and greg needs to renew his, and it takes up to 6 weeks, so we need to get right on that. im way excitedddddd :] sun, beach, i'll be able to drink legally, sun, more beach, jet skiing. jfdaijfa;iljdfkmafhdalkfna!!! i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :] :] :] .............be jealous bitchessssss alright well im off. im gonna wait for greg to get here and then we're gonna order in and rent a movie. im excited :] i have NOTHING to worry about for 10 whole days ((until school starts again..)) this is the lifeeeeeeeee 1 comment|post comment

[20 Dec 2005|07:32pm] so lisa just picked me up in her brand new 2006 toyota corolla sport. effin beautiful car. i love it. shes going to surprise kev now..im so excited for her<3 anyway the past couple days have been awesome. gzim came home on sat and we went to our spot & then had a little gathering at my house. it was fun. :) sunday i worked from 11-3, then hung around my house w/my family. they met jackie for the first time. we went to my sisters play thing at church and then afterwards i went to robbys w/jimmy. it was funnnn yesterdaayyyy i took my stuuuuuupid final, then met up w/robby near hofstra. hes moving near XS next semester..in the same house sebastian is living in. its gonna be spring 05 all over again ;) i cant wait!! today i worked from 9-530, and now im chillin. waiting for gzim to come over :) we're gonna watch gilmore and eat dip and chillllllll and im gonna pretend to study for my LAST final..oh man. kk im going. later!!! ♥ 1 comment|post comment

dont doubt me bitchesssssssss [18 Dec 2005|09:24pm] [ mood | pleased ] im just taking the time to write because i am amazingly proud of myself right now. i want you all to know ((or maybe just ashleigh because shes the only one that really reads this...)) that my computer science teacher posted my grade for the semester already. i got a B+. and that was one of the harder classes...imagine what i got in italian or public speaking or criminology...all of which i did better in?! i am SO proud of myself...working almost 40 hours each week like a full-time employee and being a full-time college student maintaining good grades and getting a B+ in one of the most hardest classes ive ever taken. so eff all of you who underestimate me and dont give me enough credit. staying in for the past couple of weeks to really focus on school has paid off :) anyway, 2 finals down, 2 more to go. one's tomorrow at 4 and another wednesday at 8. working almost 40 hours again this week..which is good bc im brokeeeee..i just checked my CC bill and oh man...i dont even wanna think about it. good thing im selling my books back on weds...and i just got the money for my mini too ...hollaaaaaaa and at the end of jan i can sell back my italian text book which i bought for almost $200 last year. sighhh alright im off to chill w/my gregory and maybe study for my communications final tomorrow. leave me some love guys ♥ ohhhhhhhh and ps: my gpa went up from a 2.86 to a 2.97 bc of that B+....im gonna get my 3.0 this semester when my other grades come in. =) 1 comment|post comment

DONE!!!!! tonight im working from 4-11, and tomorrow from 8-430. bah. oh well, at least ill be done early and have the rest of the night. i'll be exhausted. but what are you gonna do. i need money lol i cant believe i bought myself a new ipod. i spent way too much on christmas presents already. and now i just added this $300 toy for myself. sigh. oh well, im always working my ass off & have nothing to show for it. well now here you have it. i work my ass off - i got a new ipod :) ok well i should prob be studying for italian as the final is in less than an hour and im all mixed up w/the tenses. later people ♥ post comment

mike jonessssss [12 Dec 2005|09:44pm] [ mood | exhausted ] *italian lab 10 *italian lab 11 *make up 1 hr in the italian lab *italian composition 2 *italian composition 3 *computer science term paper *computer science extra credit *1 article on e-rez for criminology *2 readings in text book for criminology *book for criminology *paper for criminology *speech for public speaking *10 questions for public speaking *essay for public speaking *notes for public speaking only 2 more things left to do and im done!!! well ... then i have a lot of studying to do. but u know. :) on friday i got the piece for my hard drive, greg put it in and it works :) ive never been so happy to use my laptop. saturday i worked from 4-12 ((i was scheduled till 11 but mr. davis wanted to leave at 11 so i said i would stay for him...i wasnt planning on doing nething w/my evening anyway, so i might as well get paid)). i called lisa afterwards and we talked for a while. how i miss my dirty skank ho ♥ she bought herself a new car. an '06 toyota corolla (sport!) the girl is makin good money. if she could throw some over here it would be great ;) well im almost done w/all my christmas shopping. sat me and greg went to the mall and i bought everyones gifts :) sooo glad that im practically done w/eeryone. the only people i need to worry about is gregs sister darlene, and i already know what im getting her. and his parents. thats always hard. but my parents, bro, sis and greg are all done :) i wish i had more money to get gifts for my square and for robby and stuff but oh well. i spent so much on everyone else that im all out of cash. well not really, but im in debt for a lotttt of money loll i'll be working my ass off for the next couple of weeks. i thought i was going to have to pay for books this semester but then i remembered my dad has it covered!!! :) yessss me & greg also decided where we wanna go to for spring break, since he doesnt wanna go to universal studios anymore. on a cruuuuise to the bahama-mamas!! im really gonna be working my ass off but it will definitely be worth it. plus, i wanna get the new ipod. on sat i brought my mini to the apple store and said it had a battery problem. 3 minutes later they came out w/a new one for me. anyone wanna buy a pink mini ipod? 1000 songs....fresh outa the box. never been used. still has the plastic on the front and everything...and it comes with the charger, head phones, and clip...pay me enough and i'll throw in the iTrip. $125 without the iTrip, $140 with, $150 and i'll throw in the car charger too. only reason the itrip and charger are extra is because i'll have to buy new ones when i get the new ipod. so yea. come on people!! usually its $150 for just the ipod, an extra $30 for the iTrip and however much more for the car charger. plus taxes and stuff, ud be spending over $200 for all this stuff. good deal here ;) im also trying to get rid of a pioneer radio that came w/my jetta. nothings wrong w/it, i just wanted to have the radio from my old car. so if anyone wants that, feel free to ask. at least $80. lol i feel so weird. selling my stuff on my blurty. maybe ill post that on myspace too. hmm. haha anyway, im gonna go start my italian composition maybe and color in the pictures i drew for my square today in class ♥ only 2 review sessions, 1 class, and 4 finals to go!! 1 comment|post comment

[05 Dec 2005|10:39pm] [ music | rent soundtrack - no day but today ] *italian lab 10 *italian lab 11 *make up 1 hr in the italian lab *italian composition 2 *italian composition 3 *computer science term paper *computer science extra credit *1 article on e-rez for criminology *2 readings in text book for criminology *book for criminology *paper for criminology *speech for public speaking *10 questions for public speaking *essay for public speaking *notes for public speaking as you can tell, ive been busy. and somehow ive been making time to go to the chiropractor. i went last tues, weds and fri. today they took x-rays and i have to go back on weds for results. plus they wanna see me 3 times a week till the end of dec. yuppp damn waldbaums. today i gave my speech for public speaking and i am SO glad its over with. i went first in my group and then just got to sit back and relax. it was definitely easier the second time around. i wasnt obsessing over it as much as last time, and although i got extreeemely nervous before i walked into class, once i started speaking i was comfortable :) on thursday my brother broke the mirror in the lower gym at school (RHS) by punching it a bunch of times. his wrist is all cut up and stuff and it was bleeding like crazy. he has to wear gauze (spelling?) pads and all this bs for a while, and is suspended from wrestling for 2 weeks, which doesnt really matter neway bc he cant wrestle bc of his wrist. they also took captain away from him :( what a bunch of jackasses. oh well. yessica came into work and told me about it and that dodd said the usual dodd stuff when everyone asked her what happened. "well you see, the lovely dodd came in and was looking in the mirror.." lol so if ne one doesnt know the story as to what happened to the mirror in the lower gym..there u go. anyway, he called me from the hospital and asked, "are we still going to see rent tonight?" sooo we went. greg came too. it was awesome. ive been listening to the soundtrack non-stop since thurs. i got my new cell phone on friday!!!! :) its about effing time. it only took a month and a half. but w/e it was free. its the same phone as my brothers. camera-and u can make it black & white, or bluish or nething u want really. and it has an AIM feature :) it fricken rocksss..that night we went out to joes dads to chill w/some cool people and me & tinie danced around to the rent soundtrack :) me and greg slept on the air mattress upstairs instead of trying to share the couch again. it was good..and the fire alarm went off reeeally early in the morning bc barbara tried to start the fireplace and didnt open the thingy. the funny thing is that NO ONE got up to see what was going. "oh house is on fire? let me sleep...i dont care..." hahaha.....when me & greg did wake up, tinie and mackenzy were still sleeping but barbara and rob were up and as i was walking down the stairs the doorbell rang. they opened up the door and no one was there. they have this theory how its robs mother and stuff. we watched suffolk's most wanted lolll and some lady was wanted for prostitution & possession of marijuana. i thought most wanted people were like murderers and rapists and stuff? shrug. tinie and mackenzy finally got up at likee...1230 and rob made us an awesome breakfast :) greg left w/eric around 2 and went to his house to do some things w/his headlights. tinie drove me home. i worked till 11, greg came and we relaxed, went to dunkin w/cj and met up w/tony and amit was there. [i am seriously in LOVE with my new cell phone] ^there she is :) yesterday morning i woke up to SNOW! not a lot, but enough :) so today i came home from school. and my computer was taking forever to load, and when it did, it froze. so i restarted it. and it went to the safe mode/safe mode w/prompt/start windows normally screen..and no matter what i picked, it ended up at a screen that says "Operating System not found." now, i kind of wish i paid more attention in my computer science class bc im supposed to know what an operating system is. anyway, i called gateway and it could be 1 of 2 things. 1-hard drive is burned and i need a new one, which means ill lose EVERYTHING i had, including 700+ pictures, 1000+ songs, and my effing public speaking paper ((which WOULD be crossed out if i didnt have to rewrite it)) or 2-some strip thing in my hard drive. im hoping its this bc then i wont lose all my pics and songs. either way, im considering my paper gone bc the strip theyre sending me isnt supposed to get here till sat. and if it doesnt come sat, im screwed. sigh. i think im cursed. anyway its supposed to snow 3-6 inches tonight. it started..but stopped and i dunno whats going on. im going to watch this detective show. i dont have work till 11 tomorrow :) leave me comments 2 comments|post comment

[25 Nov 2005|12:55pm] thanksgiving was good :) me & anthony played beer pong ((i won)) greg came around 830. my bro sis and i played bubble trouble for hours. i ate a lot. i paid my credit card bill today. this months bill is only gonna be like $80 and thats how its gonna stay forever. no more hundreds and hundreds of dollars. bc i never have money for nething else...liiiike a vacation for me and greg and christmas presents. so yea. so im really having a hard time writing my speech. i just sit here and stare at the blinking cursor bc i have no idea what to write. i have 3 hours until work. 1 hour until im supposed to get lunch w/julio ((i think im gonna have to reschedule)) and i just wanna get this over with. if anyone is willing to help/has any ideas, IM me! <3 ps: my speech is about 80's fashion. i dont know if i should talk about 2 things ((such as leg warmers & big hair)) or talk about all of fashion and just kind of briefly discuss each one. sigh. help! post comment

JUST 1! >:O and it doesnt even count bc i added another! sighhh stress stress stress. the past couple days have been alright. work then home and sleep. havent seen greg since sunday. monday i went to steve & barrys w/my sqaure. it was an awesome date ;) we got lunch and walked around the broadway mall for a while. i had fun........LOVE YOU SQUARE ((whos this square dude? LMAO!!)) today i woke up at 8 to drive my sis to school, climbed back into bed when i got back and decided to call work bc the earlier i went in, the earlier i got to leave. so i went from 920-320. i love getting off early :) ahh ken just called me!! happy 21st birthday!!! his bday is on one of the biggest party nights of the year ((aka THANKSGIVING EVE)) and he gets to celebrate in the city...LEGALLY! lucky bastard. 2 years lol 2 more years.....its so insanely frusterating. roar. neway, tomorrow im working from 10-3, then spending thanksgiving with my parents bro and sis. just the 5 of us. and our 20 pound turkey. :) im really excited, bc we usually go to an aunt's house or something and this year we're going to put up the christmas tree and play this italian card game that i can barely pronounce, let alone spell. maybe ill get some hw done too. just maybe. its gonna be good. then i guess greg will come over after he leaves his uncles. hopefully. it sucks that i havent seen him this week at all :( sunday i had things to do for my morning classes, monday he had to clean/do laundry bc his sis came home and shes staying in his room, and yesterday i worked from 9-530 and he worked overtime and didnt get home till 9. tonight hes going out partying w/his sisters, some cousins and his friends. im so jealous. i wanna go :( BUT! im hanging out w/my square and robby and some other cool cats and we're gonna be soooo drunkkkk...plus its gonna rain/snow ((!!!)) and none of us want to be walking to/from dizzy lizzy/bogarts/xs in that. so we're just gonna stay in and enjoy each others company..and of course the company of rum and beer ;) gzim is home too. i called him to hang out for a little and he didnt answer the phone. sigh. well i guess im gonna go and maybe do these notes for my public speaking class. i cant wait to seriously start crossing maddd things off that list!!! later homies<3 1 comment|post comment

harry potterrrrrr [20 Nov 2005|09:31pm] sooooooooooo yesterday me & greg went to see harry potter & the goblet of fire. it was amazing, as usual :) they cut a lot out, such as the house elf, winky, stumbling upon harrys wand after the dark mark appeared, harry being blamed, and dobby wasnt in the movie at all. im pretty sure he was in this one, helping harry through out the triwizard tournament. and just little things....but of course, how much can u cram into a 2 hour movie. this one was actually 2 1/2 hours, so if everything was in it, we'd be in for a titanic type thing. everyone should def check it out. oh and ps: me and greg were FIRST in line! how cool is that?! the line usually goes out the door and around the building..and we were FIRST! it was awesome :) pps: i just dryed my hair a little while ago and it looks really good. i wish i was going out or someone was coming over or something so its not a waste of a good hair dry. buuuut ill just be sitting here, writing a paper or two. sigh :( post comment

no day but today [17 Nov 2005|11:36pm] so on wednesday me and melanie are going to see RENT in the theaters. im way excited. and then we're going to dizzy lizzy bc word on the street is that its gonna be off the hook. w00t. lisa's coming. im way excited bc i havent seen lisa in a long time and i miss my gangsta dirty ho like woah<3 so i get to register for classes in like half an hour. i redid my entire schedule today and made it so that i have 5 classes on MF and go from 9-3 straight through. weds its the same, except my psych class doesnt meet so i have a break from 11-1250, tues i only have an education class from 630-820, and thurs i have nothingggg. so its lookin good :) im taking 6 classes, 17 credits (the education class is worth only 2 credits) its gonna be insaneeee but w/e..u gotta do what u gotta do. k im going to watch "when cameras go too far" on VH1. paparazzi are sick. thats not a job. its just sick. ugh. and now i leave you with probably the most famous line from RENT: "you always said how lucky you were that we were all friends. but it was us, baby, who were the lucky ones." post comment
