: HOLLLLERRRR
I'm very tired, but I'm in a good mood. Why?
1. Tess' birthday is tomorrow!
2. I baked cookies for her and homebase
3. I think things with friends are getting a little bit better.
4. I have like 4 crushes, and those are so fun.
5. I saw Chan and his car the other day, and for those who I have not yet explained to, here is a complete description. Chan, first of all, is this great little Chinese man who was our badminton coach freshman year. Some of you might know him as "The Chan Man", or "Chan-Chan the Badminton Man", or, best of all, "Slappy Chan". He is about 5'4, with no real distinguishing characteristics about him except perhaps a little thing above his mouth. Some call it a "crust-ache", some call it "leftover food above his upper lip". Anywho, I had the pleasure of seeing him in the school parking lot last weekend. His car = black, shiny Toyota, with tinted windows, and blasting techno music. Although I couldn't actually hear the techno music, I'm sure it was in fact playing. Better yet, blasting. So seeing him was a real treat, hoo boy, what eye candy!

: Hilarious Day!
Haha, today was great. Despite the fact I was completely out of it, soo many funny things happened. Allow me to list them with commentary.
The Field Trip
a) The penis game = never gets old.
b) The Beastie Boys game = failed. Maybe next time guys?
c) Bites from Greg Minasian hurt. A lot. Feed him before it's too late!
d) Tip: Never pay Jason to ask funny questions concerning nipple rings at a play's Q&A session. It will backfire because Cassius with the nipple ring will disappear.
e) This kid Matt asked the cast if they thought Brutus was noble or not (this was our essay question), and I had the idea to ask that also, and I definitely expected like everyone to crack up. No such luck. And then after talking about it for a while, one of the cast members said "I think the real question was, was Antony noble?" To which I responded "Well, that wasn't our essay question, was it?" In a really high pitched/weird voice. A lot of people heard and laughed, which made me happy. By the way, when I say a lot I mean like 7.
f)Little Caesar's Pizza = a bit disappointing. Especially after having to eat at 1:30!!!! Definitely an hour and a half after my regular lunch period. Grr.
Ha, so, that was the field trip. The play was mucho disappointing, but the bus trips and lunch were fun. I sat with a bunch of people I don't normally sit with and had a very enjoyable time.
Badminton was also fun, yeah, I definitely don't feel like listing all the funny things that happened, well that's a lie cuz here I go!
a) Today was a very appropriate day for recreating Hilary Duff's video, "Coming Clean"
b) It only rains on me. I have my own raincloud, and it likes me the best. That's why it got me nice and wet while sitting on the bus.
c) No me gusta our new badminton food policy! So I guess they decided that snacks from now on are only to be eaten after playing both their games (doubles and/or singles), but it's creating soo much drama. Good lord. A few varsity girls tried to have some food, but were snapped at by the JV girls. Viciously. Yeah, that part wasn't really funny.
d) Alli and I had some amazing rhyme sessions during the meet. Hot dog! All I remember is "splashing in the poo" or something. Yum.
Haa, well anyway, what a good day. It definitely started off with a rain cloud, and ended with one. But the second one was funny, so that's okay.

Plus two shirts from Abercrombie. They are very cute.
Plus a white off-the-shoulder James Purse shirt, and a demin miniskirt from Guess.
AAAAND I'm going to Urban Outfitters today and I'm going to get a ton of stuff!

: There's No Such Thing As A Selfless Good Deed. Eh, Like I Care.
Tonight I ran out (drove, actually. As if I'd actually walk anywhere) to White Hen to get some gum. While I was there, I came across those mini Cadbury Eggs that everyone microwaves and has like orgasms eating.
So I decided to buy a few for a couple of my friends, because I felt like I haven't seen any of them in forever. So I went to Kate's and she SCREAMED when I gave them to her. She invited me in and I helped her make pizza rolls!
Then I went to Amy's. Her mom said she was really sick, so I left the eggs with her. Feel better soon Amy!
Lastly, I went to Tess's. She was actually walking up to her house from being dropped off and I yelled out the window in a really scary voice "HEY! GET OVER HERE!" and she came over and we had a nice chat.
And I feel very good about that. In that Friends episode, where Pheobe and Joey are in the dispute whether or not there is such a thing as a "selfless good deed", it reminded me of tonight. You want to do something nice for someone, but not so it will make you feel good. Otherwise, you're being selfish. But that's not how I see it. I think doing a good deed isn't selfish because it just makes everyone happy!
Haha, what little sense I make.

: You'd Think By Now...
You'd think by now I would have learned that stalking really gets you nowhere. I mean, I started liking this boy at the beginning of Freshman year as a joke, and then it escalated into me really liking him, which escalated me into stalking him. And I still do it! Okay, maybe I don't go to Old Orchard just because I know he'll be there anymore, and maybe I don't send him text messages obsessively, but i do read his Livejournal all the time. So, to prove my point that stalking gets you nowhere, here is a note I wrote him last year. I was going through all my notes from Freshman year and I found this one:

Hey ___ [his name] ! What's up? Sorry about the 5th period problem. I really didn't mean to "chill" by your classroom for so long. Ya know?? Oh and I was just kidding about the brother in law thing. I was just wanted to play a trick on you but I think you took me seriously. Sorry buddy boy! So what are you doing this weekend? Your best friend KATE H. is coming over. Tonight. Are you in a band? If you are that's cool because I am too! We rap. Well actually I'm not in a band but I really want to be! Well I have to go sorry again!! Write back. From, Rachel (with hearts all around it)
The reason I have this is because he returned it to me with the words "recycle" and three little arrows. Point proven.
Okay. Back to reality. This note alone shows how weird I was to his face! I don't remember the 5th period incident, but I guess I totally knew where his class was and I guess I followed him there or something. PLUS the brother-in-law thing - I don't remember that specifically, but I am almost positive that it had to do with me telling him we were gonna get married or something to that effect. Also I remember another incident where in English we were watching the Odyssy, and I told him I was Penelope and he was my Homer. Yeah, he didn't talk to me after that. Aaanyways, the sad conclusion to this little story is I don't know if I'm ever going to stop (I say this word with caution) liking him. I don't really know him, that's the bad part. And the only thing he knows about me is that I used to be really creepy. And he probably still thinks that. Alright, that's all for now.

You'd think by now I would have learned that stalking really gets you nowhere. I mean, I started liking this boy at the beginning of Freshman year as a joke, and then it escalated into me really liking him, which escalated me into stalking him. And I still do it! Okay, maybe I don't go to Old Orchard just because I know he'll be there anymore, and maybe I don't send him text messages obsessively, but i do read his Livejournal all the time. So, to prove my point that stalking gets you nowhere, here is a note I wrote him last year. I was going through all my notes from Freshman year and I found this one:

Hey ___ [his name] ! What's up? Sorry about the 5th period problem. I really didn't mean to "chill" by your classroom for so long. Ya know?? Oh and I was just kidding about the brother in law thing. I was just wanted to play a trick on you but I think you took me seriously. Sorry buddy boy! So what are you doing this weekend? Your best friend KATE H. is coming over. Tonight. Are you in a band? The reason I have this is because he returned it to me with the words "recycle" and three little arrows. Point proven.
Okay. Back to reality. This note alone shows how weird I was to his face! I don't remember the 5th period incident, but I guess I totally knew where his class was and I guess I followed him there or something. PLUS the brother-in-law thing - I don't remember that specifically, but I am almost positive that it had to do with me telling him we were gonna get married or something to that effect. Also I remember another incident where in English we were watching the Odyssy, and I told him I was Penelope and he was my Homer. Yeah, he didn't talk to me after that. Well today I discovered that Saves The Day is coming to Chicago April 3rd, and I got so excited. Then I got really sad because I realized that none of my friends like/know about them, and I really wanted to go to this concert. Then I remembered that when I made Alex a CD I put a few Saves The Day songs on it, and he said he liked them. So I asked him if he wanted to go and he said definitely. So hopefully we will go! I'm so excited. This entire weekend has consisted of me listening to and watching STD. (haha, love the abbreviation.) I'm obsessed, nothing new. I just hope I don't get sick of them before April 3rd.
Plus Alex asked if I wanted to hang out sometime, because "I'm fun". Yay! He thinks I'm fun!
So today was pretty lazy, I didn't do anything except talk to my dear friend Sarah Beth online for like 3 hours and listen to music.
Ah, must write this paper. It was due Friday, but I just can't seem to get started... O, muses...

According to my BuddyProfile countdown, camp starts in 4 months! Very nice. I wish it was more like 1 month though...
This past month or so I've been incredibly camp-sick. I look at my pictures obsessively, like I missed something. The thing I haven't done yet is listen to my CIT CD. When camp was over last summer I made a mix that I thought expressed us CITs - hard to do with 20 of us - and sent it to everyone. I just think listening to it will be so sad. We listened to it at the camp reunion in November also. I miss everyone so much!! They all live so far - Elizabeth and Molly are the closest. In Bloomington-Normal, which is like 2 hours maybe longer away. AHHHHHHHH it's SO frusterating not being able to see anyone ever!!!
