In an idle moment last night I bumped my cable modem up from 512Kb to 1Mb. Improvement was obvious, but now I've got to think of something to use all up of that extra bandwidth. I'm not a big mp3 or movie downloader so it'll probably have to be games...... aw shucks!

Actually, my gameplaying has decreased even more recently so having been a 'several nights a week' clan player last year I'm now an 'in an idle moment' player. In my case 'Life' is inversely proportional to 'Games' (more or less) so less games is A Good Thing™ in my mind.

I'm actually playing guitar for a few hours today and tomorrow, which is the first time since last December. I got a call from Marcus, who I love to bits and can't say 'no' to, to ask if I'd play in his band so of course I said yes as it'd be a chance to play with Sam and Hugh as well. Should be good fun at the bare minimum! I've gone off playing guitar for a number of reasons and don't have much motivation to pick it back up but it's nice to feel that playing with good friends is a good enough reason!! I wanted to go paintballing with stuartl today but that wasn't going to happen for a number of reasons so this'll make up for it.

I'm finally 'journalised', having lurked around stuartl and friends journals on Livejournal I thought I'd have my own to see if it's really me or not.

I like to think that this will be cathartic and positive but I do have that feeling of being ever so slightly sad..... not a new feeling you understand, but to date my 'journalism' has been confined to paper. Kettle's boiled, time for tea if you'd like to join me?

I can tell you all about the Marketing moron who deleted the MX records for our mail domain and left us (700 people) without email for 24 hours, but we've only just met..... and then there's tea......... and that's enough about me.......
