Umm...I just left UF's study abroad fair...Liz and I really really want to study in Ireland on summer...so I was like...hmm...lessee what info I can gether...erg...I now have a like 5lb plastic bag full of books, pens, highlighters, pamphlets, and god-knows what else...heh...kinda amusing...I suppose it'll make for good reading material while I'm waitin for Liz to get out of her last class this afternoon... ermm...I was sooo hungry this mornin...and I just couldn't wait til I after mine and Lizzy's classes to eat Leonardo's Pizza (greatest pizza in gainesville, might I add) -- I hadn't eaten all day and we're gonna eat there around like 3ish -- so I was like...what can I get for breakfast that's really really cheap (I only have like $5 that I can spend on food...well...I also have $10 but I have to save that, I can only dip into it minimally)...so I thought and thought...and got 2 4-packs of those little chocolate doughnuts and a 20oz Mt. Dew Pitch Black II for like $1.82...very nifty...now my tummy is happier and won't whine at me all day til we go to Leo's...hehe Umm...next topic is...erm...erm...erm...umm...::blink blink:: nothing...wow... I conquered a half-dollar-sized spider yesterday mornin...I was like nearly going into convulsions (I have severe arachnophobia)...it was between me and the spider killer spray in the laundry room....eventually (with mom on the phone coaching me) I made it into the room and got the spray...then bounced back away from where the spider was towards my room...then stood at a conundrum because I know that once I sprayed it, it would start runnign around like crazy...so...I put one hand on the doorknob to my room and the other aimed the spray...and sprayed as much as I could at the spider...and kept spraying it as it ran as much as I could force myself...then sprang into my room and stuffed a towel in the door crack...then, after a minute, I slowly cracked the door and looked around on outside...and then took a few slow steps to try and find where it had ran to...then found it near the kitchen...and sprayed it again as how it wasn't quite dead yet...and then went back into my room for a moment or so to gather my things...then slowly crept out again...sprayed it one more time to make sure it wasn't moving (it's legs hadn't curled under yet)...and then crept into the kitchen...unfortunatly I had to throw away my last 3 microwave pancakes because I had cooked them before the spider-ordeal...and now after it had no time to eat them...this made me very sad and rather angry at the spider world...then I glared back at the still motionless spider...and it moved! but..after I shuddered and helplessly looked for a place to scramble, I realized it was just its legs curling up...::sigh of relief::...but I was still unable to get near enough to it to dispose of it...so I left a note for my roommate (who I thought wasn't home)...after I got home from school I realized she was home, cuz she asked me if I was ok....and I was moderately embarrassed because during the whole ordeal I was on the phone to my mom going spaz...and I had no idea she was home...or else I might have tried to be a little quiter spaz at least...yeah...and her friend, later on as they were leaving, was like "OMG did you just see that spider!" (she wasn't serious) and my roommate kinda defended me...kinda interesting day...and so anyway....yesterday I was like jumpy all day...heh....and couldn't really get any sleep last nite cuz all nite I felt creepy things all over me...it really kinda sucked Ok...for an entry that was planned to be like 5 lines long...that was REALLY long...especially for me...rar, world, rar |
