    YAY FOR AFI!!!!!!
I am soooooo excited- I finally got the cd. Now you dont have to burn it for me Brookie. :) And I am getting "Elephant" by the White Stripes for Christmas. wOOt!! "We are the wakeful, wry and watchful. We're awaiting." Teehee. I am having much fun. I have control of the computer and I have good music. Plus I am ignoring the fact that I have tons of homework I should be doing.

In English, we are doing this coat of arms assignment, which I dont want to do because I can't draw and we have to present on Monday. Dammit. And I have math. Score, other than band and figuring out what to do for my test in Science, that's it!

Not much is really going on- we went to Jessi's grandparents' house, and now we are just hangin' out. Yup, I'm just sittin' here waiting for someone to come online who will talk to me. Sam is online, but I guess he is busy or whatever. I have a bunny sticker on my hand. Tomorrow we are going to the sale things around town. Yup- I WANT A TEDDY BEAR- dont know what store though. Megan is labeling Jessi's leg in highliter. My sister is on COCAINE!!!!!!!!! Ya dont believe me, yeah, ya prolly do. She is the reason Columbia has such great damn business relations with the United States.

I am bored and alone. Jessi said it would be icky to date the guy she likes. "What's the point of dating someone if you don't do anything with them?" This is coming from an 11-year old. She needs to word things a lot better.

Megan said she is going to get into a smack-down with the guy she likes if he doesn't like her even though he flirts with her. Alrighty then. Just beat the shit out of him with a drum stick and shove his head through the bass drum. [This kid is a jerk, disregarding the fact he may be leading my impressionable sister on.]

    You are Lime.
You are quirky and misunderstood. You are
definitely your own person. You don't let
anyone tell you who you should be. You never
sell out your values and beliefs, no matter
what. However, you can sometimes have trouble
fitting in, but only because you are
    misunderstood.

Today we went shopping at Northtown. Hot Topic ist SEHR WUNDERBAR, SPITZE UND TOLL!!! (woah, a pop-up for viagra just appeared!) Anyway, my two most favorite stores are Hot Topic and Barnes & Noble. I found an ultra-groovalicious cd- Elephant by the White Stripes! And Live @ Leeds by The Who. No AFI :(, but they played two songs by them while we were at H.T. I found a lovely Flogging Molly sweatshirt, a Gollum t-shirt, and fun jewelry, but I didn't have any money. We kept going in to J.C. Penney's for the free schokolade! Bad us. I SAW MY MINI-ME!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOO HAPPY!!!!
I was talking to Sam earlier, but then the computer went into a rage and exploded while pointing a rifle at my head. Ok, not quite. That reminds me of 2001: A Space Odyssey. HAL-"Stop, Dave. Will you stop Dave?" :)
Brooke, I miss you and I wont see you until like a week from a few days from now. :(

    Happy Snow Day!!
Oh, how I love the snow!! Happy happy day! Winter is the best season of them all!!! Not only is it a snow day, but it is the start of my glorious 4-day weekend. wOOt!! Time for dances and music. Meg, Jessie, and Megan's friend Sarah are watching Drumline, which actually is not the male version of Bring It On I thought it was. Yes Sam- the movie is pretty good. :)
I am so nervous for Festival. Considering I can't play the music properly graaaaaaaahhhh! My fingers and my bad habits just make me crazy. Tina says she is actually fascinated by my finger movements! At my lesson we were playing the Tacet Overture and I was apparently doing this bouncing thing, and she sat and made me do it over so she could watch my fingers for like 5 minutes! Graaaaahhhh. Alex says I have a really good tone. Danke, aber tone really does me no good if my finger coordination is .... lacking as of now. Oh clarinet- how I love you, but the high shrilling nonsense which is abuse to the name woodwind that Mr. Jay is making them play is ridiculous! My baseline part on the new song ist sehr wunderbar, aber einfach. That's okay though, I guess.

    Viel spass heute!!!!! :)
Today was muchos fun. First, we went to Starbucks-yay for white chocolate mochas! Then we checked out PFHS, not fun, and mum might make me go there next year. "I would let you stay at LC, but it's illegal." I am trying to throw a fit and maintain the ability to go to much beloved LC. Anyway, after that, we went to Michael's and I got a round knitting needle, like what Lizzie has, and orange and black yarn. Then we went to Ross, and since mum had money and decided we didn't necessarily have enough clothes, I got 2 shirts and a sweater. Then we went to lunch at Taco Time. We ended up going to TONS of different stores including but not limited to: Hancock Fabrics, Borders, a furniture store, a Christmas store, Lotions and Potions, and Zoo. Plus the other ones. I found Tea for the Tillerman, one of the best cds OF ALL TIME, by Cat Stevens, the other epitome of cool. And a Beatles cd w/ Deutsch translations for She Loves You and I want to hold your hand. Yay, I can read German! HAhahahaha! Considering the four of us (Stacie, Sarah, and Steven) spend very much of our time finding phrases about ways to kill someone- w/ a Gift hahahahahahahahaha. [poison] Or about a hovercraft or whatever. We are brimming with intelligence, creativity, and emmense masses of sheer and utter boredom b/c the class is too freaking slow. Mum bought a Joanie Mitchell cd!! Happy days. Good music. Lots of rum. Ok, maybe not the last bit. We just ran out. Ah, a caske of vodka calls to me. That is quite odd, since vodka, like all liquor, does not come in caskes. :)
"I want to shampoo you"?? Joanie, Joanie, whatcha talkin' bout?
Meg told me the funniest thing. In her geo class, the teacher asked what an Isthmus was. Megan said it was Christmas with a lisp. Merry Isthmus. Or Happy Isthmus, depending on the country/continent.

This weekend has actually gone by really slowly. I got all my homework done- ok, not really. But all of it that I plan on doing. I have 3 math probs.- must remember to go in to Thorson's tomorrow morning, predictions for the science activity- wouldn't I have to draw molecular structures to make the predictions, and I don't think I do that properly, and I have to finish that Deutsch worksheet. I need practically all of the little der, die, das things.

Oh, I watched 16 Candles today. It was good. "Hhhhhhhhow ya doin', hhhhhhhhot stuff?" Now, I am just sitting here with nothing to do. I could read something, but I am in a writy mood, not a ready mood. I want to write with a blue pen, because they are just the new thing, but they don't work very well on computer monitor. Plus my fingers are actually going fairly fast at the moment and I would rather do this than work on bassoon since I already did that earlier.

I have decided that when I get money- so this might not be for a very long time, I am going to buy the Homsar t-shirt "I was raised by a cup of coffee", and the SB messenger bag- the duck tape one didn't work this year, and the SB hoodie. No wait, that is like........... a lot of money. Maybe just the first two then. Still. Or maybe the Homsar one and a Teen Girl Squad shirt- "I have a crush on every boy". Cool stuff.

Oh, I have just decided to see how much tea I can consume in a week. This is going to be lots of fun!! Crap, I can't have any of those yummy tea biscuits. Hmmmm, oh well. Tea, so good. *ponders* I wonder if I tell Mom it is juice week she will buy me lots of good juices. I don't think so. I would have a Strawberry-Grapefruit-Chocolate-Milk week, but I would undoubtedly have to get my stomach pumped. Yeah, I think that might kill me.

I NEED PRETTY PICTURES IN MY BLURTY!! Like Hello Kitty, or just the quiz pictures, but I am not tech. inclined enough to figure those out. Oh well, whatever.

I am definitely excited that Mark is coming back this summer. That will be fun! Cool, I will actually have someone to hang out with for a change. Hmmmm, but if I have to get a job, and I won't even be there the whole summer- cos we have to move of course, still, it will be lots of fun. And hopefully we can chat with him before he gets back. Like we can all be Internet chums or something. Chum is a fun word. It reminds me of brocolli. ?? Who knows.

    Today is a Saturday
Last night was the Band Craft Show set-up thing. I felt kinda bad because I left an hour early, but I was croaking, and the likelyhood that Brooke, Wess and I were actually going to do something useful for the next hour was not very high because the vendors decided they really didnt need us there anymore. Except for the candle lady. She was pretty nice.

I have only a little bit of homework to do this weekend.
Science- maybe I should do those worksheets from a while ago, or review Ch. 6
Band- practice the fast exercise bits, and look at bolero for 5 sec. - literally, bass line hardly exists
History- actively read a handbook on writing- so you can learn- HA! not even close.
Math- fix 1 prob. and do 3 more
English- find a song for powerpoint presentation- maybe ask wellman for the spideyman song
Deutschklasse- study for the test- the states and spellings, not the words
Tja, dont want to do any of that. Well, 1/2 of it.

Nothing at all has happened today. Oh, I spent an hour making a scarecrow, while Megan and Jessi decided they were Bertha and her cross-dressing husband Frank. They switched off. Next Saturday is our Halloween Party, so I hope the Bowling/Shopping adventure is on Friday night. Lauren said we should go to Value Village, get crazy dresses, and then go bowling instead of Homecoming. That sounds really cool. Lee and Brooke both think that this is a great opportunity to.... get things going or whatever. Sorry girls, he would think it's weird, and so would I, and I'm busy anyway.

Lee, I just want you to know that I have traits of your personality too. For instance, this blurty post is about 3 times what I usually write. Maybe not 3. Maybe I should make it really long and then say it is definitely 3 times as long. Oh, was is your lieblingklasse? Meine are Deutsch und English. And what is you WH is sentence?

Tonight is SNL and Red Dwarf. Maybe I will indulge myself and watch Saturday Night Cinema as well. I love old movies and no one quite understands that. I also love British comedy, and colorful stuff. And Chai. Right, everyone! Chai is sehr sehr sehr gut. Nein, nicht gut, SPITZE!!!!!!!! Oh, and for everyone's reference, Hassan is definitely stalking Tanja, who needs more martial arts training than judo. My mom says I need to take martial arts. What should I take. Tai- chi! Come here mugger, and I will tai-chi you to death!! Maybe no. Any ideas girls?

Ok, Brookie and Leelee. What should I do in regards to ssdsl? Should I just stick to dpt when it comes out? I would just write it out, but there is becoming a potentially unwanted interest in the blurty system- brooke knows what I mean, and I'd kinda rather have it that he knows from me instead of say, tim, or whoever else. And Brooke, I am telling you this because for some reason you find or last year found this quite amusing. Despite the nonsense male mood swings going on, the odd little poking game still continues. Ok, that was practically a name right there. Oh well. So, the point is..... maybe there is no point to it anymore. ..................hmmmm.

I am really hating this stupid history project! *is struck in the face with idea of at least moderate tolerability* ah, to make a chart of accomplishments in each of the following: science, math, and astronomy of the ancient greeks and romans. ach ja!!! plus maybe i can avoid a summary of everyone's projects by explaining that well, that is the whole point of having sub-categories. so that someone else will cover it.

    PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN!!!!!
That, is by far one of the most wonderful movies I have seen in a long time!!!! Yay!!! Definitely very cool. Another movie I want to see is Dirty Pretty Things with Audrey Tautou. Amelie revisited. bwaha. We went to Silverwood today- pretty cool. However I think it would have been totally awesome if brooke or someone could have come too. Oh well. I really dont like contemplating the piles of homework I have to get through. Lab questions, study for science quiz, bassoon?- ha, unlikely, research science and political developements in ancient Greece and Rome and how they influenced history, math stuff, and book 1 of the Odyssey. Oh bloody hell. The Beatles are making it temporarily better though which is great.

    DuPoint- now, and then.
As everyone knows, DuPoint is currently one of, if not the leader in the producing of breast implants. Well, interestingly enough, a very long time ago, back to the days of mining (post-Gold Rush), DuPoint was also a leading manufacturer of an explosive called Blasting Caps. In my opinion, it would be of the utmost hilarity if some of the products of each time period were intermingled a bit, to make a whole new invention. Exploding breast implants. That sounds really weird and painful, but women should not be getting such alterations in the first place. Bio-engineering is fine when it's given someone a leg that otherwise couldn't walk or something like that, but not so that men with think a woman is more sexy because her boobs are bigger. Live with what you have folks. Oh, the same goes with plastic surgery- facial reconstruction from a burn, ok; using it to make someone's nose prettier- stupid. I think Cher is totally awesome, but she has kinda become her own Barbie doll.
    5:53 pm
    Sitting all alone, smiling gleefully
Oh, what an interesting day it has been. Ok, that was blah, even for me. Then again, in my world interesting means busy and chaotic to the normal bob-type person. Anyway, woke up at 5:30am to leave campground and send Meg and Jess off to Camp. Yeah, well at around 6, we were verrrry close to hitting a deer. It shouldnt have run out in front of a car going 55 mph. Well, we finally got the girls loaded off, and I saw Maddie (who was quite upset I wasnt going), Jake (didnt say anything to him) and Kaylie, Marissa, Donald, Nick, lotsa peoplies. We went to some owl place and had breakfast. Not like, I just ate an owl. We did a bunch of other stuff too, but none of it really matters. Also, I think I am going to die if I eat another ice cream cone in the next ...year. Complete overload of ice cream; it is sad, but I just drink masses of soda. The movie was simply loads of fun. More people should have gone, but it was still groovy. Never eat sheep cheese, it is sooo completely awful. Weasel, kindly stop trying to kill us with poison. Anyway, I get to go driving today, which is totally exciting. And I dont have to practice in Barry's truck, I get to use Mom's car. Yippee! People should say that more often.

    Time to breathe again.
Helping a class of 6 and 7 year-olds learn to read and do math is finally over after 3 (often long) weeks. But I loved every minute of it. Well almost every one. :) They are all so adorable and so much fun, but now I have the time I need to practice 2 instruments, one of which I have to learn how to play by Sep., which will be pretty hard. On top of that, I have that English assignment to do, but it is actually pretty interesting so that is ok. Small children can get rather hectic, but they are lovely. But not to be around all de time. I'll prolly do it again next year, the experience is good. And it's something to get up for every morning.
Yay for tomorrow. I am planning on going downtown to see Johnny English, *wonders if sam or someone will come with me*, and eat orange chicken. Oh, je amour l'orange poulain! Or something to that effect. Lalalala. Rowan Atkinson is ultimately uber fantastic and amazing, and should be hailed as the classic Brit. comedian he really is!!! Mr. Bean, Black Adder, etc. is WONDERFUL!! Oh what fun. And sheer delight is this. Going to call comrades now and attempt to rally support for the theater.

I am really happy- I kinda got out of going to badminton for 3 days! Yay- badminton kinda sucks. Whoever invented tennis-volleyball was a complete idiot. It is also like using a ping-pong ball in a head dress.

    Party time! Ish.
Sarah is coming over tomorrow- did someone say movie-fest? :) How lovely. And we are going to babysit Alec.

Because I had nothing better to do, I calculated the approximate length of my finished summer reading assignment. Since I have to do reading logs, I have decided to do 1/2 page typed for each chapter, and probably 2, 3 at most pages of vocab words. Oh how terrific, since there are 43 chapters, I should have a 23-25 page long assignment!! It is only 10H English, not my thesis! Yeah, my teacher is really gonna want to read a 25 page paper on a book 9 other people used and they probably know by heart now.

CSI is on tonight. That would be really exciting if it wasnt a re-run. I still need to see 'She ate her'! Although, 'He peeled his face off' was a pretty good one. Of course that is the only part of the episode I remember.

I simply love grapefruit. Most people are opposed to the bitter taste. Well folks, that's what makes it good. And grapefruity. Today I had a delicious new grapefruit concoction. GRAPEFRUIT CHOCOLATE MILK!! Alright, it sounds terrible, but it is oooh so good. And we didnt have any ice cubes so I could make an Italian Soda. Hey, live on the wild side! No, not the druggy/partying wild side. The other one.
I am finally making some sort of progress with my summer reading assignment for English. Hemingway- you should not have been revered for OMS, but For Whom The Bell Tolls actually has a plot which moves in a forwardly direction. Good job, ol' boy.
I reeeeally want some fruit right now. Like an orange, which I have wanted for the past 2 weeks, or... well, a grapefruit would be nice. Or an apricot. Mmmmm.

    Long Live The Beatles!!!!!
In my opinion, The Beatles were one of the largest accelerators of modern music, not to mention being a band that will never die, even if it's singers do. HOW FREAKISHLY EXCITING IS THAT!! You go Paulie and Ringo!! The Beatles- it's a revolution.
"Plastic soul man, plastic soul." No, that makes it sound artificial. Hmmmm. I got it! "Let's all get up and dance to a song that was a hit before your mother was born." 6060842. C'mon guys. The B-52's had talent too! Rock Lobster all the way.

There are so many wonderful things/people that modern culture and generations have dismissed and buried with the forgotten treasures of yesterday. HAROLD is one of them. Hardly anyone nowadays knows who he is! What a tradgedy and complete shame is that? Harold as a few of us remember, was/is a small bald child with a lion friend (the precedding toy animal of Calvin's Hobbes), and a magic purple crayon. And he would have lots of great adventures, such as using his magical crayon to draw things in midair!! That would be sooooo much more entertaining than, say, video games. Or t.v. :) Heehee.

And Rainbow Brite/ Little Twin Stars. But a lot more people are familiar with these. Still- TOTALLY AWESOME!! Oooh yes. AND CARE BEARS!!! Let's see: we have Lucky Bear, and Grumpy Bear, and Love-a-lot Bear, and Sunshine Bear, and....
