Apparently I have to come straight home from work for two weeks just because for two nights I lied about working until midnight. That's bullshit and I'm not fucking coming straight home. My parents only set me up for lying to them some more. I'm not sure where I'm gonna stay though. I'm just worried about my parents going to Hannaford when I work to get me or some shit. Oh well, fuck them. I'm gonna sleep over it tonight, but I honestly doubt my mind will change. This is the fucking summer and I'm not wasting my summer at home like I have in the past. So today I found out that Jackie Lau, my fellow co-worker Kenny's cousin, is someone who I used to talk to all the time online years ago. That's pretty cool. She seems like a very nice person. Today was the usual hang out in Ogunquit for a few hours then goto Congdon's type night. Ian and I walked around with grey poupon mustard that Ian stole from Splash, asking chicks if they wanted "the mustard". Only two chicks asked us to explain what it was for, the rest just said no. It just so happened that the two chicks that kept talking to us after were probably the two hottest chicks we asked. We plan on doing the same thing tomorrow, so it should be a fun time. People can be such pussies when it comes to talking to girls. Tim was actually too afraid to go ask these two chicks sitting on a bench if they want "the mustard". I just grabbed it, walked up to them and asked. Maybe I'm outgoing, or something. Tomorrow I'm probably going to go buy a glass bowl with Vanara or Narin at amazing.net in Somersworth or someplace in Maine. It sucks not having something to smoke with when I buy weed. It's also been a week since I last smoked. I want to, but I don't need it or anything. If I don't go buy the bowl, or even if I do, I'm probably bringing Heather and Mike down to Ogunquit, where I'll most likely hang out also. I'm becoming rather content on not having a girlfriend. It's just fun talking to random chicks. I got paid $180, which is awesome. I'd like to save this paycheck, then use my next paycheck to buy a double bass pedal (assuming I get $150 next week, but I doubt that'll happen). A week is pretty far away though. This summer has been moving at a snail's pace it seems, but I love it. This has already been my best summer yet and I totally don't want to go back to school. I have no problem meeting new people, mainly from Wells/Ogunquit and making friends with them, but for some reason I just can't seem to make friends with people from Sanford. It's probably because I've known alot of them for a while or something. I just like meeting new people so much. I went to hit on these two chicks tonight with this Matt kid that I just asked if he wanted to go talk to the chicks when they walked by. I dunno, I should probably goto sleep. I'm tired, but I don't want to sleep. Sleep is such a waste of time. You spend 14-16 hours awake doing activities, then you spend another 8-10 laying in one place, not doing a thing. I'm pretty sure I've talked about the lameness of sleep though. I read something in Yvette's blurty thing about how she doesn't care about other people's problems. I find that kind of sad since she's such a cool person. Whether I show it or not, I definately care about what's going on with my friend's lives. It doesn't have to be as extreme as a family member dying like what happened to myself to care, but anything really. I don't know, I just always feel like I'm missing one thing or another in my life. I don't have a best friend and haven't since junior high, I probably have the worst relationship with my parents ever also. I goto my friend's houses and they just casually talk with their parents or hang out with them or something. I never talk to my mom, dad, stepdad, or anyone else in my family. I don't even know what my parents do for work. I honestly cannot picture having a friendship-type relationship with my parents like some of my friends do though. I see my dad for maybe 30 minutes every other week, and that's about it. I feel kind of bad about it since my sister used to visit him all the time, and now that she's gone he's all alone for the most part. I probably shouldn't feel bad about those things since it is my summer vacation and I should just enjoy myself, which I definately have been doing. I just don't like staying home, because it's when I stay home when I think about all this shit that just brings me down. When I'm with my friends or working or driving I'm absolutely fine. On a funnier note, Pelky stuck a sticker on Chris Sampson's car today that said "Boys R Toys". It was so hilarious, especially when Chris flipped out and started yelling. He took the sticker off though, then Trak wore it on his shirt for most of the night, then Tim did for the remainder of the night. These damn entries just seem to get longer and longer for some reason. I highly doubt that anyone else gives a shit to read about mine or anyone elses life, so I don't even know why I do it. the sedatives tell you everything is alright [08 Jul 2003|12:16pm] [ mood | energetic ] [ music | Thursday - Jet Black New Year ] Last night fucking rocked. Yesterday I went to the mall with Heather and bought a few shirts before the Thursday concert. At 4:30ish we got to Asylum. I saw Chris Brook and some other Wells kids, so we went up in line with them. I met Lucien and he is one crazy kid. Anyway, the show started with an awesome hardcore band. The mosh pit was the gayest thing I've ever seen though. People were doing kickflips and other lame shit. The pit also took up about half the entire place. The second band was really good. They had a cello player, which added to the atmosphere quite a bit. The drummer's double Iron Cobra broke, which sucks, but the song they played sounded fine without it. The next two bands were hardcore bands, I think. I know that the fourth band that played was, and they were amazing. They had me going crazy and everyone was just bashing into each other. After them some band from South Africa played. They were pretty good also, and the bassist was hot. Then Stretch Armstrong played. They were my least favorite and they seemed to play more than Thursday did. Then Thursday finally took the stage. They started off with their new song, which I haven't had a chance to listen to yet. After that I think they played Understanding In A Car Crash, then Jet Black New Year. Both of those songs I screamed every word to. JBNY is definately my favorite song by Thursday (it's also probably their hardest song, which may have something to do with it). They also played Autobiography Of A Nation, which is another favorite of mine. Thursday also sounded very good. They went off stage and people started leaving, then they came back on to play two other songs. It was extremely hot throughout the whole night. Heather and I were really sweaty and gross. When I got home I immediately got in the shower, then went to sleep. I'm surprised that I didn't get hurt at all last night since I was in the front during most of the show, but somehow I got pushed off to the side during the fourth or fifth band. After seeing all those hardcore bands last night, it really makes we want to see Lamb Of God live. They're so fucking crazy. Anyway, that was my night last night, and it was definately better than most. Lately I've been gone all day and night, only coming home to sleep. I've been spending all my money on food for the most part since I'm not home to eat (luckily I still have plenty of money left... I don't know what the hell to buy). It's been the same ol' hang out at some Wells kids' houses, then we always end up in Ogunquit. Last night was really gay, literally. There were absolutely no women in Ogunquit last night past 11PM. It was nothing but gay guys and it was quite scary. I was more than happy to get out of there. I wish I had a girlfriend so I could spend my time better or something. I'm just starting to get bored with the same people everyday. The 4th was pretty cool. I worked for 4 hours and it really wasn't as bad as I expected. After that I met up with Kenny and Colson, then we went to Ogunquit. I got a nice parking spot in the upper lot. Kenny parked in the cove, which is quite far away from where we were or whatever. A bunch of people started to show up eventually. The fireworks were mediocre. I've never been too thrilled by fireworks anyway. I had a pretty bad headache that night, which sucked. Me and two other guys went to talk to these four hot chicks. One of the guys backed off right away, then after me and this other person introduced ourselves, the other person left me. So I was talking to 4 chicks for the whole night pretty much. I could have very easily done something since two of the girls were rubbing up on me alot and everything. Unfortunately, I felt like shit and forgot to ask for a number. Oh well, it wasn't that big of a deal, just a nice self-esteem booster, hehe. My life has been a blur this summer. The fact that I went to bed high for 4 nights in a row may have something to do with it, but I doubt it. I enjoy being high because time goes by very slowly. It's great when you're having a good time, but otherwise before you know it it's really late. Hopefully when I someday find a ladyfriend I'll be able to get high and spend time with whoever it may be, just so it would seem like forever. I really don't want to waste my time with chicks that are only visiting for the summer or whatever. I want a nice and fairly long-lasting relationship sometime, although that may sound rather pussy-ish, I don't care. Anyway, I've been staying around Sanford today, going to friends' houses and all. I won't be staying out very late tonight because I've been waking up at 7ish for the past two mornings and I'll be staying out very late tomorrow at the Thursday show. I can't wait, it's gonna be awesome. It's been a good couple months since I've been to a concert. The last concert I saw was AFI, which I wasn't too thrilled by, mainly because I was fairly new to AFI and only recognized a few songs. Luckily I know Thursday rather well, so the show should be a good time. Work isn't anything special anymore to me, and luckily enough time flies by. Yesterday I worked 9-5 and it was over very fast. Today I was supposed to be in at 7:30, but I woke up at 7:40. I'm really slow in the morning, so I didn't get to work until 9. Oh well, that's what they get for making me work that early! Last night Merrill, Matt, and I all talked in Texan accents for the whole night. I was really the only one that did it all the time (Merrill & Matt didn't do it when we ordered food at Yum Mee's, and Matt wouldn't talk at all around Miranda). It was pretty fun(ny). Josh (Merrill) and I even talked like that a bit at work today. Colson really wanted to punch Merrill and I for talking the way we did, but he didn't. Well this has definately been my longest entry yet, and it probably seems rather depressing. I'm not depressed in the slightest bit, just a bit lonely and bored. I'll probably update this in two days or something, writing about the Thursday show. Not that anyone actually reads this (and not that I care). Today a drummed for fucking hours, then I ate pizza with my dad, then I umm drummed some more, then went to someone's house, smoked some weed, bought some weed, got really high. After that I head out to Ogunquit on my epic adventure that spanned several mystic seas. Once I got there I saw Chris Brook and Ian and was like "sup" and they were like "sup" and then it was cool. After that other people started to show up, like Merril and Joe and Trak and Kenny and Colson and Miranda and Matt and Zach and Lisa and Stacey or something and uhh... the guitar guy! Yeah so we did stuff and I ate combos. After a while of listening to music we went to Trak's house, smoked some of my weed, then I left. Merrill was going crazy after just the one bowl we smoked. I was glad to leave kinda. Driving when you're high is pretty fun stuff. I hope to be doing that again sometime soon! Anyway I'm really hungry right now and I want go-gurt but Hannaford is closed and I don't think 7-11 carries the Cool Cotton Candy. :( I'm working tomorrow, friday, and saturday. SO FUCKING IN LOVE. [02 Jul 2003|02:56pm] [ mood | happy ] [ music | Blood Has Been Shed - Call Waiting ] Wow. The new Blood Has Been Shed CD is so fucking amazing. I can't even begin to describe it's awesomeness. I went to buy it today, but the CD store didn't have it (I bought Soilwork's The Chainheart Machine instead), but luckily a friend of mine bought it and sent it to me! It's sooooo good. Anyway, life has been incredibly good so far, despite the fact that I still don't have a girlfriend. That doesn't even matter because life rocks. Last night at Wells/Ogunquit was really boring. The best part was seeing Kat. I left early and went home. Then at about 12:30 I went and got high with Taylor and Chris. We smoked some skunk... I was sooooo high. I'm surprised that I found my way home. My shoes felt like slippers when I was driving and I had to press on the brake every now and then just to make sure that I could still move my feet. Oh well, it was a good time. Even today I feel pretty nice from last night. I wanted to buy some but I was too high to really do anything. I barely made it out of Chris' house. After that Narin and I went down to Ogunquit and hung out at the square with a bunch of people. After that we went over to a friend's beach house in Wells and hung out with some Sanford kids. Then we went back to the square, then eventually over to Irving. We were both getting bored so we left and went home. I found out that I'm working from about 1-6 on July 4th, which sorta sucks, I guess. It'll be quite busy. After I'll be hanging out with people in Ogunquit though. the raindrops x46 [28 Jun 2003|12:07am] [ mood | cheerful ] [ music | Radiohead - Sit Down. Stand Up. ] Today was a day. I went to the Ogunquit beach with Narin and Taylor for a while. It started downpouring on the way down (in Sanford). Once we got to Ogunquit no one was on the beach because apparently it was evacuated. Matt Sampson and Chris Brook were there in the parking lot. We went down onto the beach and then as I changed it started pouring. It was really heavy. Chris and Matt left. Taylor, Narin, and I went out into the water and swam. The rain was very cold, but the water was even colder, so after going under and all that it felt really warm in the rain. I foolishly left my cellphone in my bag, which I left on the beach, which got soaked, therefore filling my phone with water and making it not work. So tomorrow I get to buy another one! Yay! I'm not worried about it though, because I'm too damn happy today. After the beach we went to McDonalds. It was cold in there so we outside. I guess they put rotten lettuce on Narin's sandwich, so he wiped it on that piece of paper you get on the tray, then he wiped the paper on the table. After that we head home, I showered, changed, then went back to Wells/Ogunquit. I went to Chris Brook's house and Merrill, Joe, Trak, Matt, and Chris Sampson were there. We watched some Muppets movie and ate pizza. After Joe, Trak, Chris, Chris, and I went to the Ogunquit beach. We hung out there all night for the most part, trying to get some pot. I was the only one with money so I was gonna buy some for everyone, but everyone that could have supposedly gotten us weed didn't have any. Oh well, no big deal. A bunch of chicks were checking me out, so that was cool. We sat and listened to some homeless guy talk about the government and how he wants a socialist government instead. Then some rich conservative couple started arguing with him and us. It was quite funny. I don't get why people get so wrapped up in government shit. Sure, the US government is very corrupt, but just look past that and be happy and have a fun time with your life, instead of complaining about how the government brings you down. John, the bum, was a very intelligent, educated guy though. He was quite impressive with his general knowledge about things. I also hung out with Kenny, Colson, Aaron, and Josh Hayes. I found out some interesting details about the party I went to when I drank almost a full bottle of bacardi. I thought I only ate pizza that day, but apparently Matt, Josh (Merrill?) and I went to Irving that night and bought food and we ate chips or something. I don't have the slightest recollection of that, which is a bit scary, haha. Anyway, I thought that was quite interesting to find out over a week later. Tomorrow I'm probably going to get a new phone, then buy some new shoes and clothes. I don't really want to put in all my numbers for a third time, but it's not that big of a deal. Once again it was hot as hell pushing in carts. Luckily I get tomorrow and Saturday off. My leg started hurting towards the end of my shift. Once I was done I got my paycheck then checked my schedule. I only remember that I have to work from 11:45 to 7 on Sunday, which is the longest shift I've had yet. Oh well. After work I went over Chris Brook's house. Him, Joe, Trak, Matt, Merrill, and some other people were there. We went to ogunquit, then to Subway, where we met up with Merrill, Kenny, and Katie. After that we went to the Ogunquit beach where Melanie, Zack, and Colson came over. After that I left to bullmoose, where I bought my ticket to the Thursday show at the Asylum. Ai-Viet and a bunch of other people were there so I talked with them for a while, then came home. There were some pretty hot chicks there. After that I went home and my mom and stepdad went to Macaroni Grill for my birthday. They gave me a cellphone. I dig the phone, but Unicell is pretty gay. I can't even use the fucking thing at my house cuz I get no signal in Springvale. I may bring it back before the contract kicks in, then I'll get a phone w/ AT&T. Anyway, after I got home I went to Merrill's house, then after hanging out there for a bit I went to a party. There were a ton of people there, even Narin. I wanted to get high, but I also didn't want to wait to smoke. As I was driving home I heard the beat for "Realest Niggaz", a song with JT Money and some other people who aren't as important. I got extremely excited that they were playing that song on the radio. Then to my dissapointment, some other fag rapper kicked in. :( It wasn't the real Realest Niggaz at all. Oh well. That was pretty much how I spent my 17th birthday. Ladies can still give me some form of sex as a belated gift if they wish (and you know that you want to). I'm bored. [23 Jun 2003|10:44pm] [ mood | bored ] [ music | Deftones - Bored ] This box is labeled "Event:". Well, now events happened today at all. My mom woke me up at 12 noon when she was on her lunch break or something. She was like "Oh, I didn't know where you were." Whatever. I got up, showered, shaved my face and then chest, and brushed my teeth. After that I kind of just listened to Deftones and talked to people on AIM. I had pizza for lunch and watched TV for a bit. Mail Call is a pretty cool show. After that I played drums for a little while, laid outside to try to get a tan, but that was really gay so I went inside and played Halo. Then I found out that my CD came in today. So that was probably the highlight of my day. Getting my CD in the mail. After listening to Deftones for pretty much about a month straight, I think they're my favorite band now. I listen to Adrenaline on repeat pretty much (okay, not really, but I listen to it 2-3 times a day). I'll be 17 in an hour and about 15 minutes, so that's cool. Tomorrow I plan on going to the beach, then going up to portland with my mom and stepdad for dinner, then after hopefully going to a party to get drunk or high. I got there at about 2:50 for my 3 o'clock shift, and right away I started bagging. I bagged until 6:45 until I told the shift leader that I was supposed to be done at 6:30. It was a non-stop bagging extravaganza!!!! I bagged for some gay cashier, which was pretty funny just listening to him. Then I saw one person buying Go-Gurt Cool Cotton Candy. I started chuckling to myself and the woman gave me a funny look (from Treat Of The Week... I don't have a link though). Earlier today was boring. All I did was do yard work until I left for the good kind of work that you get paid for. Last night I went to Cilla's house and hung out with four bitchz. That was pretty cool. Now to wait for dinner. All I've had to eat so far today was two waffles. I've been too busy to eat anything else. Oh well. I don't know what I'm doing tonight. Maybe nothing, maybe something. I'd prefer the latter. I also am just realizing what a crazy week this has been! Then I cut my hair, got in the shower, and while I was in the shower Joe and Narin came over. We went to Narin's house to watch the senior video. After that we went to Greg's house and his roommate or whatever bought us some corona and bacardi. After that we headed over to Trak's party. I started off light with just some corona and Boones (haha), but after I smoked some weed I kept drinking bacardi. We played Halo and Matt was saying some real fucked up shit. Joe told me that Matt and I were freestyling, and Matt would do some rhymes, then I'd just yell random incoherent babble and I'd end my verse with "muthafuckaz" each time. That must have been hilarious. Then we were going to bed and I threw up. It sucked. After that I did fall asleep. At about 7AM we left cuz Joe's stepdad needed his car at 8. I was supposed to work today, but I called in sick. I feel like shit today and keep sleeping. I'm looking forward to tomorrow so I don't feel like this. Alright, so it's 3:40 now and I feel better! Hooray! I still think that I'm gonna stay in tonight though. Right now I'm on the last song from Radiohead's new album. Hail To The Thief is such a perfect album. If you like Radiohead, buy it. A million times before I get things right. [17 Jun 2003|11:44am] [ mood | accomplished ] [ music | Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects-Transmigration of Souls ] Well I finished school today. Yes. Now next year I'll be a senior. ((I PRAY TO MEET THE FAT CAT)). I hung out with Smey today and yelled "WHITE POWER!" at people. After that I went home and drummed a bit. Then I went to work. Work was very long, but I kept very busy. I still need a girlfriend. Chevelle is really good. Their songs are very catchy. Now I am bored. I want something to do. I probably won't find anything to do though. Oh well, at least I don't have to wake up at 6:30 for school or anything else tomorrow. i've become the nuclear image of eternity [16 Jun 2003|09:28pm] [ mood | crazy ] [ music | Deftones - Change (In The House Of Flies) ] I shall start off by typing what I did yesterday. I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock at 9:30 AM. I got out of bed at 9:32 and shut off the extremely loud and annoying sound. I then grabbed my towel, razor, and shaving cream and head off to the bathroom. I shaved, showered, got dressed, ate breakfast, then left to Westbrook. I met my dad at his house, gave him his father's day gift (new Radiohead CD) then we went to my grandparents' house. There we ate lunch and ate cake, since we celebrated father's day and my birthday. After that I opened a few gifts. Then my dad and I went to a few places at the mall. I got Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects - Sol Niger Within, Version 3.33. It's the craziest CD that I've ever heard, but I love it. Thordendal is a musical genious. After that I drove home and I watched Tears Of The Sun. It was okay. Then I did some drumming and then went to sleep. Today I woke up, showered, blablabla, and went to school to take my english final. I took that, which was pretty easy, then at 9:30 when the time was up I went home. After being bored for a while I went over Narin's house and we played some Halo on his bigscreen TV. That is pretty damn fun. Then we decided to goto the mall, so we did just that. Then we went back to Narin's and played some more Halo, then I went home. Now I have to go write down a bunch of shit on my bookcover that I get to use during tomorrow's Chemistry final. It's gonna suck, but I don't care. FROM, DUSTIN. post comment

lost, here is nowhere [14 Jun 2003|10:18pm] [ mood | tired ] [ music | Opeth - Dirge For November ] Yesterday I went to school for a while, went home, and played my drums for a while. I was talking to Tysen and he said his g/f got into a car accident and he felt bad that he couldn't go visit her. Being the good friend that I am, I took him over. Luckily she was fine. Then after that I went to the mall with Smey and bought some CDs. Then I yelled "white power" at some people in a parking lot. I think that was it for yesterday. Today I woke up at 7, worked until 12:30, which was okay, then went home. After being bored for a while, I talked with Kat and we made plans to go see a movie. We saw 2 Fast 2 Furious, which was sort of okay. The acting sucked and all that and there wasn't many car scenes, but Kat was there so it was all good. ;) That is pretty much it. I think I might goto sleep soon because I am tired. post comment
