Starting with birthday wishes for my looooooooooooooooving mom Happy Birthday Mumma .. I love you a lot!!

thats me and mom :)

After a long time Indian team has won in an important match. We have had this habit of loosing in finals/crucial matches. But yesterday the Men in Blue wiped the floor with Pakistanis in all the departments of the game. We fielded well (leave aside a few glithces in the middle overs), our bowlers stuck to their line and length and bowled superbly I must say despite of the dew factor being present and its almost needless to mention the awesome Indian batting line up. We have it all Aggression, Flamboyance, Strokeplay, Powerplay and Style. Indian fielding yesterday was like unbelievable the magnificent catch taken by Tendulkar nanometers inside the boundary line, the direct hit by Yuvraj to send Akhtar back into pavillion and Kaif jumping around, so full of energy. We guys rocked Lahore big time. Oh and how can I forget the heroics of the smiling, courageous Balaji who thrashed the blabbermouth Akhtar to all corners throughout the series.. and I am sure Shoaib is never gonna forget that hefty blow over his head fro a six. Unfortunately the match officials cudnt see the valiant efforts of the youngster Pathan, but he definitely deserved to be called the Man of the Match.Laxman did well but he can never hit the ball long way. Strangely even with that century (with a wonderful strike rate of >100) he failed to impress me (Thats my personal opinion and as usual might be different from almost all of ya). But I must appreciate Inzy. I have always savoured his batting. He devastates the bowling effortlessly, barely I could recall him getting out edged, so unlike most of top order batsmen. In other words he hits like Sehwag, is consistent like Dravid and a sloppy runner like Laxman and Ganguly. Tendulkar's brilliant catch was a unique verbatim to the quote "Catches win Matches". Pakistanis did well and all but who cares all that matters is we won. Thank God "peace messengers" of Atalji dint put aside their main motto while trying to win hearts out there.
This was probably the last match I watched in Auditorium of IITK with some 1000 nuts like me. Its so damn fun. The aftermatch Bhangras in the Auditorium. Oops I forgot to mention our ostentatious Sherry as usual overflowing into emotions and bookish quotes. Imran Khan can criticize his team but Sherry, never!! He is so damn hypernationalistic and eulogizes performance of Men in Blue in almost every match ( I might like to add which is pretty strange at times ). And hey Congrats Sachin for completing a ton of catches!!
