8:45 pm	Summertime and the living is easy... School is out for summer! Working as a paid extern during the summer pleasant. Having time with Peanut and the family is great! I turn 39 in a few days and I'm ambivalent. It's not 40, which is considered a landmark event... 39 and embarking on a new career is kinda weird. I'm looking forward to seeing my brother get married in Cancun soon! Looking forward to the beach as well as the happy event! Question: If you could live/work anywhere for 13 weeks and get paid well where would you go first? It is a question we are asking around the homestead as I enter the middle of nursing school and contemplate a future career in travel nursing after a while as a med/surg nurse. Peanut says hello to nicefriend and all her other friends...she's busy but still alive and kicking! (4 Comments |Comment on this)

1:23 am	late in the evening I was just reading Peanut's entry about aliens and ball lightening. I don't know if we get visitors from the cosmos here or not but if we do I hope they are friendly. Another week approaches, I passed Pharm/Dose for nursing class and soon will test for passing pills. I already passed giving shots (with needles, not glasses - I passed that one years ago!) I hate the financial crunch. I promise when I get gainful employment once again I will never let another bday pass without at least one purchased gift to go along with the other hand-made ones. 11:54 pm	joining up Logging in for the first time. I have joined the Blurty masses as I am tired of reading over my lovely wife's shoulder... I may not post as often as others, but I will be looking around and posting when the mood strikes or the time allows. I am a full time nursing student, part time worker bee, 1/2 time evil - full time step-mom, pet owner - fish, dog & cats, rabid nature photographer, occasional neurotic, and generally shy girl.
