Why does no one use film photography now? Digital photography doesn't ever come equal to film photography, in so many ways. Not only in the end results of the picture but also the camera itself. Even 11 mega pixel digital cameras are not good. Anyway, there are some interesting pictures on this site and I'm glad I found it.

well i got a new camera for christmas. its a 'minolta maxxum 3' and well i like it. a lot. haha ive already gone through two rolls of film. okay anyways..
i was wondering who of you develop your own black and white film and stuff. bcz im intrested in doing that myself and im reading articles and things like that online, but it's confusing me. for the most part i know you need two chemicals. a developer and a finisher. and you need to let them dry in'a dark room and stuff. but beyond that, like brands, chemical names, disposal and stuff like that, im not sure. and i dont want to take a lot of pictures and then blow them all on a failed developing experience.
so basically, i just want to know how you went about starting developing your own film. your process, your brands, your tips and stuff like that. thanks, and merry christmas. ♥
