I'm wondering...since I'm getting more interested in photography, and I've only be using a HP Photosmart 320 digital camera..what do you reccommend that i could afford between $100-$300.... digital...film....certain models...please help.

Canon PowerShot G3 or Nikon Coolpix 4300?
The Canon gets much better reviews, however, from what I have heard, the Nikon has better quality, and the manual settings are more customizable. Reviews are kind of difficult to trust, considering how much these companies compete, and post false reviews. Does anyone have either of these cameras and/or could provide some information about the two, in comparison?
