I have short lived good news and thus are as follows:
I went to buy my battery charger today, the long awaited one for my camera. it was the right one and i was excited until i plugged it into the outlet and...it didn't work. I let it simmer for a while with some teriyaki sauce [the battery] and voila! The steak and mushroom concoction cooked and my battery was functioning,
