What I've Done ; Linkin Park |

The plumber just arrived to fix the cracked pipe in my parents' bathroom. Anyway! The June holiday is over ): and now I'm back to reality. The dreadful term 3 common tests are over too. Had my last paper, which was H1 physics, yesterday. So basically, the June holiday was not spent wisely doing unproductive things or simply procrastinating. But I did try to mug some chemistry and maths. History and physics were totally last minute - cramming at literally the eleventh hour till the next morning, then going straight for the paper without sleeping. Chem paper was difficult - I almost fell asleep cause I didn't know how to answer most of the questions. I handed in an almost blank paper. Pathetic.
But anyway, I did had some fun despite the mugging and revision fatigue. Well in the second week of June, I attended 6Q overnight chalet at Aloha resorts and touch rugby camp in school. Siuchu, BJ and Jiaen organised the chalet. I really enjoyed it though the classmates didn't do much. Everyone didn't sleep except for James, Siuchu and Weiyang. Yihui tried but she got distracted by the late night till early morning conversation some of us had, especially among Ivan, BJ, Nadz and I. We played several games of Bluff which BJ kept winning. Lol she's just lucky - everyone was allied against her! Then played Truth or Truth - it was alright but I don't really like Truth or Dare or Truth or Truth for that matter. Haha well I'm really glad BJ, Nadz and I talked - managed to find out more about them and I felt that we bonded that night. BJ, Nadz and I went to the arcade at Downtown too. Played Daytona and then Nadz and I tried DDR! HAHA. Then I played this drumming simulation thingy. It was really fun! I've always wanted to play drums (: Touch rugby camp was awesome too. The J1 exco organised it though Val couldn't come due to literature trip I think. Or was it economics? But anyhoo, my juniors are such darlings. The night surprise was awesome and I was really touched. But the most amazing part was when Karwei, Cara, Siok, Sarah and I decided to run around the track with our lighted sparklers - see how far we can run before the sparklers die out. I was the first runner and I sprinted like there was no tomorrow. It was exhilarating and the most liberating experience I've ever had somehow. On the second day, there was a reflection session before break camp. It was intimate and sentimental and I'm really really proud of my juniors and my batchmates. Really grateful to have them and to have played the wonderful sport of touch rugby. I was kinda disappointed cos only about 7 J2s attended the camp. Other than the chalet and camp, I didn't get out of the house for the last 2 weeks of June except to go to school for Maths and History consultation sessions. I just stayed at home and watched TV all day all night. Aminah commented that it's quite amazing how I can watch so much TV despite not having cable - she can't live without it. Well let's just say I watch any genre of shows from talk shows to cooking programmes to reality TV.
In the early morning of 16 June, at around 2AM, my parents sent me to Changi General Hospital. I was experiencing really bad stomach pain and I couldn't breathe properly. I could hardly stand or walk cos of the pain. Been having the pain on off for a whole week but it got really bad then. The doc diagnosed me with IBS - Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Well, frankly, the only time I came across IBS was in the movie Along Came Polly where Ben Stiller's character had IBS and had embarrassed himself during his date due to it. Will be having an appointment next Wednesday for further checks. I hope it's not something worse.
Oh and after the physics paper yesterday, Yiyan, BJ, Jiaen, Yishi, Aminah, Yihui and I had lunch at Rose Garden at Far East Plaza. Then we caught Transformers at Lido! Yiyan had his piano lesson so he couldn't watch. But anyway, the movie was awesome! Shia LaBeouf is adorable and cute in a weird geeky, trying-to-hard-to-be-cool way. Bumblebee is such a sweetheart. Man, androids are so cool! There was so much action and the effects were awesome. And it was funny too! Especially the part at Shia LaBeouf's character's house when the Autobots were trying to hide themselves :D Really cute. Plus, seeing Josh Duhamel was a bonus too. I actually enjoyed the movie better than Pirates 3! And all my other classmates who were watching really loved the movie too! It's weird cos we're all girls! And girls aren't supposed to like or enjoy or understand things to do with machines or robots from outer space. Perhaps the reason why we girls enjoyed it a lot was because it wasn't entirely action - there was a good mix of emotional moments and witty dialogue alongside the action though I have to say that some parts during the action scenes were kinda confusing cos the Transformers were really fast plus all the explosion and humans scampering about made me dizzy. Well I better not give too much spoilers cos it hasn't been released in the US yet, and this is the World Wide Web! But then again, only a handful will read this anyway. I used to watch Transformers when I was in kindergarten. I remember the boys in my class were always talking about it and I got hooked too. Haha they sort of influenced me I guess.
Right, anyway, can't wait for the Harry Potter movie! 12 JULY! SOON! Saw the posters and stuff at Lido and they were huge! Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange look really cool and Neville Longbottom is hot haha. I read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix again on Thursday. Haha ended up reading the book till end while physics revision was sorely abandoned. Man, I gotta set my priorities right! ;D I'm not expecting much for my common test results. I know I did terrible and probably failed everything. Oh well. Well i'm feeling sort of groggy now - need to grab some munchies. See ya soon Blurty.
