I missed contact rugby training today because I overslept! HOW SAD AND STUPID. YY called me like 10 times. Met Cara and Sarah at the Blacks game against NTU. They said that the friendlies against SA and BBSS were really fun and they beat BOTH teams! Woo well done! I can't believe I missed the friendlies. I really wanted to play cos I wanted to experience the game but oh well. There might be a touch friendly followed by contact friendly against NJC this week. So yay! But anyway, for the Blacks vs NTU game, it was my fifth game and it was a draw 2-2. At first, NTU was leading 2-0. Then we managed to catch up and bring the game to a draw. But at the last minute, we almost scored. It was really good play and flow by Adik, Weiyi and Amanda. But too bad it was a touch pass.
Today, Dad drove Mom and I to Marina - we saw the new pier and the place where kite-flyers congregate every weekend. Then we drove to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station along Keppel Road cos Dad wanted to eat the chappati there. Well, the trip to the railway station was interesting and I was intrigued by the building and the atmosphere there. According to Wikipedia, the railway station was completed in 1932. The building is really old but I like it. The ticket counter is vintage! The place is so different from others around the Keppel area which is rather urbanised with all the modern architecture and office buildings. I've only been on the KTM train once, and that was to Melaka where my aunt lives. Well, I'm glad we went to the railway station. ( Pictures! )
I didn't go for maths tuition today. So I got to watch A Walk To Remember (for like the sixth time?) Gosh, I love this movie. But I've yet to read the novel by Nicholas Sparks. I shall search for it the next time I go to the library. Although I've seen the movie many times, I still cried like shit. But it is this movie which inspired me to come up with a LIFE LIST, both Jamie and Landon had life lists. So far only one of my dreams have been fulfilled. My list is so meagre and some wishes are superficial compared to those of Jaime's and Landon's. So I shall rewrite my list soon.
