School was pleasant today. I enjoyed school today, which is not rare or anything. Today I, finally, ate at RI's new canteen. Went after civics, with 6Q people - Nadz, Amanda, BL, Boyle, James, Aminah and Yihui. It's so small and squeezy but it's nice cause it was just beside the field. No wonder the RI kids keep coming to the RJ canteen during their breaks or after school. It's cause their new canteen is too small to hold hundreds of hungry boys at once. Actually I hate it when they come to our canteen but oh well, RJ people are invading their canteen too. I ate from the Malay stall which sells better tasting food than the two Malay stalls in RJ. The stingray curry was yummy. I wouldn't mind going there to eat again haha. But anyway, OMG the field is gorgeous. The new field which RI has been renovating for months now! Made of synthetic grass, super artificial. Haha James was like Let's go touch the grass! - so we did. Nadz, James and I went to beg the workers to allow us to cross the construction barrier. The grass felt like hay. I've never felt hay but I imagined :D But I think I'd prefer real grass on the field, complete with mud and all. MUD IS GOOD. So I guess touch will continue training on the RJ main field (which isn't that bad now) and let the softballers have the RI field (: I'm so glad we managed to get the main field on Wednesdays (or rather, the PE dept has awarded it to us for some reason). I can't wait for JC1 tryouts on Wednesday! But anyway, I will joining the netballers for training tomorrow... Decided to take part in the Daisy Tan carnival. Amelia can't play cos of her injured hand. But I'm scared, yet excited. Because firstly, I haven't played netball in a freaking long time. The whole of J1, I only played it casually like once or twice. Not even the whole court - just a third of it. I miss netball, but I'm sure I suck at it now. Secondly, there'll be netballers whom I've never played with before like Pearlyn and Candera. (I hope I got their names right!) Pearlyn's quite nice, she smiles and says hi to me when we see each other around school though I don't know her. I don't know Candera either. I "know" them cos they're netballers. Haha well. Thirdly, I haven't played with the netballers I know since God knows when. So definitely, some of the chemistry is lost and things may be awkward. I will be a lost soul on the netball court tomorrow, but hopefully it won't be that bad. In a way I sense it will be okay cause Ms Chng will be there (x Let's see how!
But anyway, I can't stop listening and singing along to Beyonce's Imprescindible - the Spanish version of Irreplaceable. Spanish is so cool, I like. I don't really know what the words mean, just something along the lines of the original version. Ok I have to learn Spanish! Oh gosh, I need need need to get birthday presents for my friends! Or make cards or something. Kiat's birthday is today - so Happy 18th Birthday Kiat! Tania's and Yihui's are coming soon. Chu Ian's and Yul's just passed. AND my birthday is coming soon too! HEHE
