Today was a good day (: Went Christmas shopping with YY today. We just went around Taka and Wisma. Bought team and exco presents. In the end we didn't have enough money and time to buy presents for the Secret Santa gift exchange. I really don't know what to get for Karwei and Yilin. Hmmm. We spent a lot of time at Art Friend and The Better Toy Store where we had a hilarious time together (: Omg I love the cherry and lime files at Art Friend. They look so damn delicious. I don't mind carrying that kind of file around school, just that I think the spine is too thick. Quite a handful. Haha plus I don't really want to carry too many worksheets to school. But the files are really gorgeous. Oh wells. So anyway, I adore The Better Toy Store. I love feeling like a child again. Just playing with the toys there; not a care in the world.
Then YY and I got really hungry so we decided to eat at KFC. BANDITO AND CHEESE FRIES YUMMM. Yep, we talked. Some funny stuff. And some deep issues, like inter-racial marriages, religion and love. It was really nice talking to her, although KFC isn't really a conducive place to talk about such stuff. Haha maybe we could have gone to a cafe instead where it's more cosy and you don't get people eavesdropping on your conversation. So what are my views on inter-racial marriages? Let's just say Love is blind. It doesn't discriminate. I mean you can't avoid or prevent yourself from loving someone, even if he's a Chinese, or an Indian, or any other person of any race and religion. But just one thing, if I ever marry a guy of another race or religion, he has to convert to my religion sincerely. I mean converting is a really big decision to make. I myself wouldn't convert to another religion. But in that way I am selfish cos he must convert to Islam. I'm not sure whether my parents are open to inter-racial marriages. I hope they are. In fact, two of my aunts are married to Chinese guys (:
Sarah and Shan joined us a while later, to discuss about about the upcoming Touch Rugby Christmas Gathering. Themes, food and beverage, games, gifts, yadayada. Oh and we're gonna make a pinata this Saturday! I can't wait! We just talked and talked and talked, haha sometimes digressing to Prison Break. Well only Sarah and YY are guilty of that actually. And sometimes digressing to how Heidi Klum laughs in Project Runway. She's so weird! But anyway, I think the Christmas Gathering is gonna be a blast! :D I hope all goes well and that the touch ruggers appreciate what we're doing! I love Exco (: HAHA WE'RE SUCH COOL PEOPLE. But sadly, Shan and Sarah (HMMMM?) had to leave so soon. YY and I just went to window shop, cos we didn't have anymore money and are totally broke. SAD ):
