I'm injured. Not severely injured, just a hamstring pull or strain. But it sucks cos I can't run properly. Hence, I couldn't train and play touch on Saturday. Had game with the guys. I played just one game and I didn't perform. I really appreciate the guys coming down to play with us, but really, some of them are really very annoying. Okay, maybe just a couple. But well, that's just the way they are. So I shouldn't give a damn or let them affect my play or whatever.

That Saturday morning, Bel, Siok and I attended Ms Chung's and Dr Slatter's wedding at a church in Bukit Batok. Ms Chung was very pretty and dainty in a beautiful white dress. Haha somehow she seemed taller. I liked the church interior. Lots of wood yet modern. Haha and the seats were comfy. After the ceremony, there was reception. Got to chat with Ms Chow and Ms Leow for a while, which was nice. It was nice to see my RG teachers, those who taught me and those who didn't. Didn't get to talk to Ms Chung much though cos she was busy attending to the other guests and photo requests from her students. I wished I had gotten a present for her. But it was nice when she said that my presence there was enough. Well I hope it was. To me, Ms Chung and Dr Slatter are like total opposites. She's petite while he's tall and muscular. She's Chinese, well, I think Peranakan to be exact, while he's a Caucasian. Not sure whether he's a Brit or a Scot. She's dark while he's fair. She teaches Literature while he teaches Chemistry. She's bubbly and cheery while he's a man of a few words. Haha, well I'm guessing he is - I don't really speak to him. So I guess, opposites really do attract. I hope they have a wonderful marriage, blessed with children (:

Got into a little bit of trouble with my parents on Thursday night. I expected Mom to give me the silent treatment for a couple of weeks, but I guess she's okay now. Dad's okay too. They haven't spoken a word to me about it since I came home on Friday. Thank God. Imagine if I had to bear the nagging and the shouting all over again, face to face with them. Enduring nagging over the phone is bad enough. I never hung up - Mom did. Twice. I got into trouble over the most trivial of matters. A stayover. It wasn't even a sleepover.

Well on Thursday, I didn't go for training in the morning. I intended to go, I even refused an MC from my doctor the day before cos I was adamant about going. Woke up to the ringing of my phone alarm clock at 7:30am. Tossed about and grumbled for Mom to wake me up in 5 minutes. The next thing I knew, it was already almost 1pm and I had missed, or rather, slept through training. Mom didn't wake me up. Under the reason that I was still down with stomach flu. Oh wells. I was about to return to my slumber when I realised that I had a movie date with Yihui, Buddy and Yiyan! Happy Feet at 2:20pm Cathay Picturehouse! Jumped out of bed, bathed and got ready. Happy Feet was great (: Bee Juan decided to join us. Oh man, baby penguins are terribly cute - I just wanna squash them! And Robin Williams' Spanish accent is the shit, man! Hilarious. Well, the movie was really funny and enjoyable - but some parts were weird, especially when Mumble ended up in the zoo. Brittany Murphy sounds so adorable, voicing for Gloria. I want my own baby penguins! They're like balls of fuzzy fur with too cute voices and big eyes... After the movie, went to Billy Bombers. It's like those American diners I always see in the movies! And haha the menu is very American. Buddy and Yihui both ordered milkshakes. Haha and I managed to kope some from them, although the doctor advised me from consuming any dairy products. :P Yiyan left for volleyball training in school, and Bee Juan left for home.

So Buddy, Yihui and I took the train to Pasir Ris to go to Yihui's house. And to do what? To do stuff at Pasir Ris Park and TO PLAY MAHJONG ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT! xD Well actually that wasn't our plan. A stayover wasn't part of the plan at all. Anyway, we had dinner first at Cavana White Sands. I ignored the doctor's advice to only consume porridge - my stomach flu might worsen and I'd get diarrhoea again, yadayadayada. But heck, I was feeling fungry and greedy. Plus, I was prepared to endure any oncoming bouts of diarrhoea, sort of. After dinner, I was still hungry so bought cheese balls! And no Buddy, I do not want the 5" or the 6" frank/sausage/wiener/or whatever it's called. -_- Stupid innuendos. Then after that went to Edosushi to get Yihui's dinner. Haha and I got myself some sushi too (: Told you I was greedy. Omg, I really spend a lot on food. Compulsive eater :P Then, took a bus to Yihui's place. Changed into my PE attire, which was actually meant for training but oh well. Actually I felt quite upset for missing training but even more guilty cos I was supposed to stay at home and recover instead of going out watching movie, playing mahjong, etc. But still, I didn't regret going out and having fun with my classmates. (: It was getting dark, but we still went to Pasir Ris Park which is less than a 5 minutes walk from Yihui's place. Brought along my rugby ball. Went to the sandy beach. Sat on the sand, took off our slippers and just talked for a while. It was nice, and the sky was dark speckled with very few stars, and a tinge of pink since it was just a little after sunset. Sometimes I could see the twinkling of lights of faraway aeroplanes soaring through the evening sky. And the air was filled with the aroma of barbecued food from nearby picnickers and campers. Well, it's really nice to just sit down and have a chat with friends. Especially when it's dark and when we're quite isolated from the rest of the world. Just the three of us sitting on the beach, looking out to the sky and at Pulau Ubin which lies just across the water. After talking for a while, got up and did some long passes, and one-on-one touch rug with Buddy. Yihui didn't want to join us so she just sat down, looking after our valuables. Haha I think it was cos of the one-on-one that my hamstring pull sort of worsened. But nvm, I can recover before this coming Wednesday's training (: Yiyan called, saying he was already waiting outside Yihui's house, so we made our way back. But a cat kept trailing us. Haha it wasn't actually following Yihui or me, I think it was following Buddy! XD It was quite funny. He got quite pissed I think. Well he did something. Yihui and I were shocked. The incident was so hilarious yet shocking at the same time. Haha and for the rest of our mahjong night, Yihui, Yiyan and I kept making cat jokes at Buddy. :P Plus there's this mahjong tile with a cat's picture on it. HAHA.

So since Yiyan was there, we now had 4 people! Can play mahjong! So we started playing at around 10pm and ended at around 6:30 the next morning! 2 rounds of mahjong. We played with tokens and I had the least tokens so I was the loser ): Yihui was the winner haha. Well my luck sucks. Buddy and Yiyan decided that we stayed over and play mahjong... I was keen of staying over but was sure my parents weren't. I called home and Mom answered. It was already 11:30pm, and I was making up some shit - so she grumbled and hung up on me. She called me back later and scolded. Well I lied to her. And she called me a liar. Then I admitted that I was a liar. I lied to her because if I didn't, she'd never let me stay over. So after that, I just spoke honestly, why I called so late and why I purposely missed the last bus. She started nagging and talking shit. And I was bloody pissed and must really apologise to Yihui and Yiyan for swearing and making rude gestures in front of them. Haha no apologies to Buddy cos he's bloody used to such stuff. Oh well. I can't believe Mom made the remark regarding my friends. My Chinese friends. So what if my friends are Chinese? Mom's very conservative and a typical Malay person, I can't blame her. But really, I don't choose my friends. I do discriminate but NOT because of race or religion. Sheesh, Mom. You're really backward. Well in the end, she gave up. So I got to stay over (: Plus it was already 1am by then. No point taking a cab home. But really, just fuck off, bitch.

The game ended at 6:30am with Yihui winning the final game. Her parents and sis left at around 7. So Buddy, Yiyan and I just slumped on the sofa while waiting for Yihui to pack her bag. My eyes were heavy and I had a back ache. Left her house and walked to the bus stop. Yiyan went straight home, while Yihui, Buddy and I took the bus to J8. Yihui had banner painting for O Team at 8:30am while Buddy had polo training at 10. I had nothing but was too scared to go home so early and decided to wait till Mom was out to work. Yihui rushed to school, since Buddy had time to kill, we went for breakfast at Yakun. Eggs with black sauce and loadssss of pepper, warm tea and kaya toast with butter (: Haha then went to Coffee Bean to sleep in the armchairs. Haha I'm surprised that wasn't illegal and the security guard didn't chase us away. Plus I was wearing my PE shirt, I was scared people might complain to the school. :P I really fell asleep! Woke up at around 9:45, Buddy woke up soon after. Then we stared at the hermit crabs in the big glass case near Coffee Bean. They're kinda gross. Then I went home while he went for training. I fell asleep on the bus ride home. ZZZ. Haha I don't know how Buddy can survive training in such a sleepy zonked out state.

I'm just glad my parents aren't angry at me anymore. Well maybe they still are, but they're not showing it. Oh wells. I don't care. Anyway, Aunt's gonna have her breast removed. Her operation will be this morning. So I better get some sleep cos the op's really early at 8am. Gonna go to the hospital. I hope everything will turn out okay.
Stay strong Aunt.

Khai canceled training today. So full day training on Wednesday.

Went to the hospital today to visit my aunt, Cik Nah. She had one of her breasts removed to prevent the tumour from growing and the cancer from spreading. However, apparently, the doctor said that the cancer has spread to her pelvis. But it's not serious yet or something.. I couldn't hear much of the conversation the doc had with my cousin. Just heard a glimpse of it. Aunt complained that she was feeling very dizzy, and that her throat was dry and painful. She kept drifting in and out of sleep. It hurts to see her so weak. To me, she's one of my closest aunts. It hurts me even more to see her children look upset and worried for her. They're like my closest and dearest cousins, and I can't say I truly feel for them. But I sympathize with them. I just pray to God that Aunt will get well and that the cancer won't spread anymore now that the tumour's gone. And I hope that my cousins will cheer up, don't be too worried. Left the hospital at around 8pm. Before I left, I salam-ed my aunt. But she held onto my hand. So I gave her a peck on her forehead and she gave me a small smile. No exchange of words, just gestures. Get well soon.
