Lots of things happened and I haven't had time to blog about them!
Ok so basically, I managed to watch The Covenant (like FINALLY), have physics remedial, buy a new pair of boots, participate in a touch rugby competition, take a picture with Paul Twohill and attend my cousin's wedding. Yep, I mean alot has happened within a span of 4 days! But it was all fun except maybe my cousin's wedding, which was on the 26th of November, cos I've never liked weddings. Especially Malay weddings. Plus I had fucking diarrhoea. So anyway,
Thursday 231106
Had physics remedial in the morning. Then met up with James at the canteen cos we were gonna watch The Covenant at Cine. Supposed to be a class outing - but eventually, some people couldn't come don't know for whatever reason. Aminah would come only if there were more than 3 people altogether. Oh wells. So only left James and I - but later, Nadz called saying that she wanted to join us after her hockey training - so she met up with us at BK while we were having lunch. The Covenant was okay. I wasn't expected too much after reading the reviews. But still, it was a good movie - enjoyable yet somehow, forgettable. Good faces good bods but not so good plot. But haha I had to watch it cos it touches on the theme of supernatural, magic, witchcraft and what not. So I was highly interested. All in all, I enjoyed it - thanks to the dueling scenes. (: After the movie, went to Heeren cos James wanted to get a new pair of slippers. He chose an all white pair from Havaianas. Well. He should have gotten a nicer pair. But oh wells. After that, went to Gelare at Far East for ICE CREAM! OMG the service there is SO FUCKING BAD. Don't go there. End of story. Nadz went home after having ice-cream, so James and I went around looking for boots. First to the Mizuno boutique at Paragon then to Taka then to Wisma. Haha well, I was simply eying the Lexor MD boots that come in either white&silver or black&gold. I soo wanted to get the black and gold ones... But after trying on the white and silver ones, I decided that I should get those instead :P But we had no money, so decided to come back the next day. (Plus I couldn't make up my mind.)
Friday 241106
Had physics remedial in the morning AGAIN. (What's this, groundhog day?) Then met up with Val in the canteen to collect the jerseys from Martin at 2pm. In the end, he postponed it to 7pm? Fucking bastard. Poor Val. So sorry you had to endure him. Took the train to Somerset with Val and James. HEHEHEHE. Val decided to go visit Nikki at her work place instead. Well I don't know what to say about that. Shit man I should have just ran out of the train at the last moment, leaving the two of them there. (: Oh wells. James and I alighted the train at Somerset. Went around Heeren again (OMG it really is groundhog day) looking for shoes for James. Haha and I found out that Sherwin has good taste :P Saw dear Shuming! She's free from A levels already so was shopping with her friend! Well then went to Mizuno at Paragon and haha one of the sales guys recognised us from the day before. Quite embarrassing to keeping coming to the shop. I deliberated too much again - but the sales people there were really nice, patient and friendly and didn't resent me or anything. :P They made my boots-searching experience all the better! XD Haha and I bet James and I made their work all the more enjoyable too! James suggested that we take a look around Queensway first - so off we go, boarding the number 14 bus to Queensway. Queensway was a letdown. The range there is bad plus, the boots I wanted were more expensive there than at the Mizuno boutique at PARAGON. Haha so after grabbing a bite, we headed back to Paragon to pay the sales people a last visit. Oh man, James and I really have too much time to go around looking for boots. I'm really sorry for making you follow me around. Actually I didn't make you - I was prepared to go myself but you insisted. Well thanks a lot (: So in the end, I got my white and silver Lexor MD Mizuno boots while James got the black and gold ones! For half the original price of $109! Good stuff huh? We were the last customers to leave the shop at 10:30pm. Then we went to BK at Far East for dinner/supper where James and I traded our boot laces. Haha mine was originally white but James thought that black laces would make the boots nicer. So he took out the laces and re-laced my boots with his black ones. Thanks dude. After a looooong day, we finally managed to get our boots. ( So here are my boots! )
Saturday 251106 OASIS TOUCH
Met up with the touch ruggers at City Hall MRT. I was late as usual, 20 minutes late to be exact. :P The moment of truth. I got my jerseys! The black and gold jerseys are gorgeous! But the white, black and green one was ugly. Haha so we decided to wear the black and gold one (: And Val you made me so worried that the girls won't like them! Everyone wore matching yellow hair bands except me cos I think I look weird with a hair band on. Mich, Dawn and Ms Wu came down to support us. Lost our first two games. 3-0 to UWC, 2-0 to LFS A. Then we won our next three games (: 2-0 against OFS, 2-1 against LFS B and 2-0 against TP Babies. We made it to the semi finals. And we had to play against UWC! OMG. Earlier on we lost to them 3-0 but only lost to them 2-0 in this match (: Well that's not the point. The point is that we played so hard. The hardest we've EVER played. It was the game of our lives. When the referee blew the last whistle and the game ended, V ran up to me and we just hugged. The team huddled together and I just started crying. Not cos I was sad/disappointed/depressed/crushed that we lost but they were tears of joy, knowing that we played our damnest hard, didn't give up and we put up a great fight. Even coach Khai said You should have seen their faces in the first 8 minutes! We were so worried! Well maybe UWC expected an easy win since they've defeated us before. We conquered the game RJ! It was our game (: Well done. The game made me realise that winning isn't everything. It is how we fight and the process that matter most. V's MSN nick last night was Winning is just a bonus. :D Well said. This experience shows that we can really go much further and do much better. So heads up and let's look towards Asian All Schs in Dec! :D And after that whole experience, it made me appreciate and love the team even more... And I can't believe Mom is still trying to make me quit touch rugby. My new boots are dirty already! (x

The team (minus Val, Clara, Nikki and Shiwei) had dinner at Gluttons Bay off Esplanade. It was my first time there. Dinner was awesome. Too bad I couldn't eat much cos some dishes weren't halal. The oyster omelette looked so darn good but Justina said the oyster just tastes like oil. Satay was good but it wasn't the best I've had. :P But it's ok, it's the company that matters. Haha and we saw Paul Twohill. I think Sab saw him first? And he walked by our tables and I was like so darn cool. Yo man. Can I get a photo with you? Nyahah. And after that he said something along the lines of You Raffles people are damn smart. Haha well I'm an exception looking at my grades! And he shook my right hand! After that everyone were saying I mustn't wash my hands ever again. But haha that's just mad.
