When you think about something, do you think in words or a picture?
Everyone's like going overseas this school holidays. Either to Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan or Timbuktu. Well, almost half of the touch ruggers are. And I'm still stuck in Singapore. I won't be seeing Shan and YY for like a whole week. Sarah, Shiwei and Karwei will be gone for 2 weeks. Erps. So that means Val and I will have to entertain Martin since Sarah Chan Chee Ying won't be here. Plus, we'll have to settle the jersey payments and shit :/ Will get the $$$ from my dearest treasurer ( tomorrow )
Other than being stuck here, I have to attend remedial lectures/tutorials, weirdly I don't dread them. For example, I feel that I learned quite a bit during the World History lecture by Ms Kaur and Mr Kwok. As for the physics remedial, I actually understand what's going on - now more than I ever did. Which makes me even more confused. What subject to drop to H1? Physics or History? People keep telling me to choose something I like (which is history), but they also tell me that physics is more practical. Not very helpful. I do admit that physics is very practical and is some sort of a better subject to continue with, but I'm not prepared to let go of History or even Physics, for that matter. I wish I had studied harder for promos and not slack so that I don't have to make this difficult decision now. Deadline for change of subject was yesterday but I asked Mr Leong for an extension - hopefully by next Monday, I'll be ready to hand in my subject form. James tried to help - by giving me the URLs to university courses, e.g. NUS, Cambridge and Stanford. But after looking through, they somehow made me more confused. I didn't tell him that of course. After looking through the list from the different universities, I realise that in universities, there's a wide range of courses to choose from. I shouldn't feel restricted. Just that I wish I had taken Malay Literature and Language in the first place instead of Physics. Well. It's nice that people are trying to help me, giving me suggestions - but somehow, I'm becoming more and more indecisive. Well I guess people's help and my indecisiveness are directly proportional.
I've been asking around for physics tuition - according to Mich, her tutor's really good. I visited his website and he seems to be very smart and his testimonials are excellent. Mom's been searching for tutors too. There's this Peter guy who charges about $130 per month, for once a week tuition, 2 hours each session. Well it's the cheapest - but apparently he's really good. 5 of my cousins took/are taking tuition from him. Plus Peter teaches Math tuition too. So it'd be like killing two birds with one stone yeah?
Been listening to different kinds of songs lately and I like My Chemical Romance's Welcome to the Black Parade. I love the intro - and lyrics, though I can't really relate to what they're singing about. And Evanescence's Call Me Once You're Sober is really good stuff too. I don't really listen much to such songs - but I don't mind them at all. Though of cos, sometimes I just like to lie back and listen to Spice Girls or Atomic Kitten. Well I guess, any genre of music's fine with me.
So paint it black and take it back
