I LOVE ( THIS MAN! ) OMG. He made such beautiful saves during the penalty shoot out between England & Portugal. The teams drew 0-0 at full time and went into 30 minutes extra time - and still no one scored. SO PENALTY SHOOT OUT. I hate penalty shoot outs. They make me jittery, super nervous and my heart feels as though its gonna explode.
Robinson was the goalie for England while RICARDO was the SUPERHERO goalie for Portugal. :D He saved the penalty shots from Lampard, Gerrard and Carragher. WOW. Well, at least Hargreaves scored - I have to say, he played damn well, his runs were superb - I like his play, but sadly, luck wasn't on England's side. England played well even with 10 men after Roooooney got sent off. Portugal had a really difficult time trying to break thru their defence. Really solid defence. Gary Neville played real well. I'm proud of him - always been. But I'm more proud of C Ronaldo for sticking thru the game despite having an injury - his runs and passes were good. (: I'm so glad he played - PLUS, he scored the winning penalty! :D A wonderfully taken penalty (: Simao's shot was wow. Too bad Viana's shot bumped off the side bar - Robinson wrongly anticipated the shot and dived the other way. And Petit's shot was nicely saved by Robinson. But RICARDO, my man, made greater saves :D I mean he saved Gerrard's and Lampard's shots! And he jumped out whenever England had a corner. He's brave. (x So Portugal is off to the semi-finals. Probably against the soccer giants, Brazil. All the best to Portugal! Oh and DECO can play in the semis!

Goodbye, Sven Eriksson. It was so heart wrenching watching the England players cry after the defeat. Especially Terry. And Neville too. Beckham wasn't crying - he was consoling his teammates. Well, it's just weird huh? I mean both Argentina and England are out. Two great teams. Soon, more great teams will be out and then the final will come. Let's see who'll win (:
