yup, so I registered for a blurty account today, and I finally got my layout setup and shhtuff. I thought I'd might as well join a community too, and to my luck there was a Bjork community. I really enjoy Bjork because it's different from alot of other music, although I enjoy other music too...nothing compares to Bjork. That's all for now. kthx

Sadly, the only CD i have of Bjork is her "Greatest Hits CD" and I still want more....MORE!!! Sorry, i plan on buying her box set sometime soon......

I bought the "All is FUll of Love" single a few weeks ago. It's so calming and exciting at the same time. That song has to be one of my all-time favourites out of all of Bjork's songs.

I love bjork and everything she does. I had to make a play and I did a play about her.....though some of the facts were inaccurate, people still said that it was good. I have enjoyed Bjorks works of art since about 9th grade and I'm very intrigued about it. I just wish that this site would be updated often......it looks like it's not. hi, bjork fans!
i'm usually quite the lurker, but i thought i'd share a strange photograph that is based on my favourite song, Joga. (don't you find with her songs, you can listen to them over and over again, and they always feel new?) whenever i hear this song, i see things as being distorted, in the best possible way. frantic, but soothing.

Hey everyone!
No one seems to update in this community anymore. Oh well I just thought I'd write a tidbit about something bjork related.
I was in HMV today (music store) and I went to the basement and the were playing BLORK! woohoo. I almost died. They hardly ever play Bjork in stores. There was a remix of All Is Full of Love playing, and I had to be dragged out of the store by my boyfriend. I could have just stayed and browsed all day if I could. And if they played her all day of course :)
And I noticed something I love the other night. Ever notice how Bjork pronounces words like "flirt"? (You've Been Flirting Again) It's like she adds an "s" sound between the r and the t. So it sounds like "flirst". I find it sooooo sexy. If anyone else tried to do that they'd sound strange but coming from her it's original and uber-sexy. In my opinion anyways :)

Hello. I just joined. I'm not a huge Bjork fan, but I do appreciate her work a lot. I think she's absoloutly beautiful. I missed the August 28th show... I was broke. My birthday was the 27th; but my family decided we'll wait untill the 29th to give her $200. Damn it. Oh well... next time I suppose. I'm really interested in getting The Live Box. Had any one else heard about it? I suggest checking out bjork.com.
In the latest issue of Blender magazine (easy to spot---Thom Yorke is on the cover) there's a small review on a book called: "Bjork: Wow and Flutter" by Mark Pytlik. Here's what it said.

Okay, so I'm in lovely land of junkies, drag queens, and alchoholics...Otherwise known as the EAST VILLASE of New York City, And yesterday, I saw the lovely miss BJORK in concert (with Sigur Ros <333, and Bonnie Prince Billy as the openers.)

Hey, I just joined the community. My name is Mandy and I've been in love with Bjork since I started watching those tapes with the little videos on it and saw Human Behavior. I was around 5 or 6 and I pretended I was her :[ ... Now I'm 14 and recently I picked Bjork back up and really, really enjoy her music. I'm slowly morphing into a bjork-blurty lay out but I'm really bad with this so it's taking me forever >:O. My favorite song by Bjork...is probably Play Dead, I *love* that song to death. And I think she's very beautiful and I find myself sometimes wishing I looked like her >:X...and...that is all! You can IM me anytime you like on bjork with dots.

I had the coolest dream last night!
I woke up in the morning in a house that wasn't mine(in the dream it was). And for some reason I knew I had to get to the indoor pool (I don't have one!) quickly. When I got there, I saw a hundred black swans decorated with flowers swimming in the pool, and I realized they were for Bjork's birthday (I know her birthday's in November). Well I went to the kitchen, and she was there! I kept thinking, "is she going to ask me what my favourite song is?? I can't choose just one!!" and she was baking something in the oven and kept checking on it. I remember I was sitting on the floor in front of the oven with her, looking through the little glass window. She explained to me she was baking a treat. It was sunflower seeds (with their shells), wrapped in a papery dough. It basically looked like candy wrappers. but the wrapping was made with dough. And the sunflower seeds weren't wrapped individually, it was more like a teaspoon full....do you know what I mean?
Then I left the kitchen and went to my room, thinking of all the cool things I could wear on my day with Bjork. But whenever I looked for the things I wanted to wear, I couldn't find them. I was looking frantically, but all I could find were really old dresses made for a nine year old. And they still had their price tags. I was so confused, and afraid that Bjork was going to leave, that I was going to get on the internet and ask "what should I wear with Bjork????" then I stopped myself because it was a waste of time.
Then I woke up.....come to update my blurty......and suddenly remembered my dream!
