This community is great! I was looking for stuff that matched my interests, and found this. Very cool, I haven't been to Ozzfest before, because there was never many bands that exactly interested me, and if there was, not enough of them. But this year's 2003 lineup, just rules all.
I am so happy that Cradle of Filth is on the American lineup this year. usually they just play the European ozzfest. If i miss this I will hate myself.
I am going to see Cradle of Filth, Killswitch Engage [my favorite band!], Sworn Enemy, Shadow's Fall, and Marilyn Manson. guess i'll be watching 2nd stage more then 1st! lol
oh, and I was looking at the lineup list, and just thought i'd give you a little update

I was a little unhappy Saturday when I went to get my tickets. I'm usually first in line at the local ticketmaster place (which happens to be a grocery store) but technical difficulties meant I was like 5th in line.
I was the only experienced ticket buyer or ozzfester there. :< oy vey.
Anyway, after much frustration, I got Section 1, Row 16 seats for Charlotte's Verizon Amphitheatre. Its a nice venue, same one they usually play around here, and I'm not too mad about the tickets.
I guess I'll never top those 3rd row seats from 2001.
Blah. Oh well, fuckit. I'm going to see Marilyn Manson again. Neener, Neener!

I fucked with the layout for the community a bit and whenever I hover over a link, the entire window closes.
If anyone else has a problem, let me know so I can fix it, but if it's just my computer then fuck it. Haha.
By the way, did anyone else get asshole security at past Ozzfest's? 2nd stage was decent, they caught you and stuff as you crowdsurfed to the front, but mainstage were assholes and stood there with their arms crossed as your head hit the cement.

I went for the first time last year with my brother and mom. Let me tell you this... we will be going every year from now on! Ozzfest was the best concert I've ever been too. I got to meet The Apex Theory! (I know a lot of people don't like them but I think they're great!) And seeing Ozzy in concert was just amazing.
