Stopped off at the parent's place yesterday evening. (The trip to California was fun). Mom has come down with a NASTY Christmas cold. Sounds terrible...feels terrible.... This afternoon should be very interesting. If I come down with the flu or something in the next few days, we'll know where it came from!!

crazyYes, I know I've been posting a bunch of stuff recently. Boredom will do that to me.....
I sit here in the lobby while the wind whips the foilage around outside - a brisk breeze it is!! I am considering making up a list of New Year's Resolutions. No guarantees that I will be successful with any or all of them, but I like to start the year with something to focus on.
The "Lose Weight" one from last year has had some good results. True, not as successful as I was hoping for, but weight loss is weight loss. When I hit 170, I will try to maintain. I think that will be harder than losing. Time will tell.....
As to anything else, I'm still pondering various ideas on what to resolve to do in 2008. Since it's gotta be something I have a decent chance of actually doing, the list may be shorter than I would hope for.
Talked to Mom this morning & she's feeling a bit better, but still nowhere near 100%. She let the dogs out & went back to bed.
Once I get myself outta here at 2:00pm, I am going over to Mom & Dad's & do some carnage to what's under the tree. The living room will be awash with wrapping paper. It should amuse the dogs....
