2:29AM

Aquarius (January 21 - February 18)
You will have a trifle too much punch at a party this week, and will amuse the other guests by flopping around on the floor an making "Ark! Ark!" sounds. But who cares? If they want to be stuffy, let 'em, I say.

[hmmm........makes me wonder what's in that punch!!]

2:41AM - 2:41am and All's Well.......I think.

Got off duty on time yesterday as normal. From there, I had to drive waaaaaay out to the west side (aka "Arrowhead Mall") to pick up some items for Mom. It took almost an hour to get out there in our delightful traffic. The sky turned dark and the rains came falling down. Livened up the commute a bit. Finally getting to my destination, I was told that one of the items was done & the other...wasn't & to come back in about an hour & a half and they would be done. Considering the time & distance involved, I decided to go over to the mall & just roam around for a while & "people watch". Stopped by Paradise Bakery at the Food Court & got a club sandwich w/ decaf peach tea (yum). It wasn't as crowded as it could be - maybe because of the rain - but still more so than PV Mall was when I was there a couple weeks ago. I walked around all over the place...lamenting the fact that there was no bookstore in there. Oh well....
Went back to the Hall of Frames & picked up the pictures & drove home. It was around 5:00pm by then & I just decided to get to sleep then since I had to be up by 1:00am & didn't want to be dragging too much in the morning. The cat was rambunctious once & then settled down. It was nice.
Now, here I am in my "favorite" lobby...sipping hot tea & trying to wake up some more.

wheeee............................................................

5:42AM

I think it's gonna be one of "those days". Boredom & fatigue is setting in early. It is kinda foggy / misty outside & everything is still damp from all the rain we had yesterday. It's around 47 degrees - very nice, imo...
Maybe I just need me some sugar....

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Current mood: groggy

11:01AM - I'm a Squirrel???

Your Score: The Squirrel

You scored 74% domestic, 27% gregarious, 35% trickster, and 44% intellect!

Domestic, Solitary, Serious, Emotional: you are the Squirrel! Squirrel people tend to be organized, thrifty, prepared for anything, slightly obsessive. Squirrel medicine teaches the benefit of good planning, looking towards the future, and conservation. The squirrel is a symbol of delayed gratification, resourcefulness, agility, and foresight.

This test categorized you based on four different axes of personality, which were then associated with a different animal. The four axes, as well as all possible results are explained below.

Wild/Domestic: This first axis categorizes you based on how much you are drawn to the outdoors, versus how much you are drawn to civilized situations. Domesticity has many shapes and forms, and varies from the joy of dolphins leaping next to a ship to the steadfast loyalty of a family dog.

Gregarious/Solitary: This axis measures how solitary you are. If you scored high, it means that you enjoy the company of other people, while a low score indicates that you prefer a more solitary lifestyle.

Trickster/Serious: This axis measures how well you line up with conventional trickster archetypes. People who fall into this archetype have a sense of humor and an excitable, highly chaotic streak. Scoring low doesn't mean that you don't have a sense of humor; it just means that you probably don't think dynamite is very funny.

Intellectual/Emotional: This last axis determines whether you are more emotional -- acting based on feelings and instinct, or rational and intelectual -- acting more on thought than on your gut feelings.

Wild Gregarious Trickster Emotional The Otter
Wild Gregarious Serious Intellectual The Antelope

11:02AM - Hmmm.....ok?

The Contented
36% insecure, 40% cynical, 30% machiavellian, 60% plastic
The Contented type has a positive self-image. Because they lack the powerful motivational influence of insecurity, they are less likely to want to manipulate others or be manipulated using methods like ego stroking. A truly Contented type is the sort who would even correct a misunderstanding that worked in their own favour, as when an audience misinterprets what they say as supporting something that the audience wanted them to say.

They aren't very liberal in handing out compliments, giving credit only where it is due, the value of compliments from a Contented type thereby having a higher premium for Bridget types, who can sometimes fixate on them because of this.

Since Contented types have a positive self-image, they won't devalue others who express a strong liking for them, so showering affection over them will not necessarily put them off. Likewise, The Contented type will not be put off by Seducers or Cynics who withhold praise since they don't particularly crave it. Contented types are unlikely to get along with Cult Leaders though because their inability to be manipulated will provoke hostility in the latter.
