It is raining. It is cloudy & smells very nice out there. Temp is somewhere in the mid 60's. It should be raining until sometime tomorrow morning / early afternoon. I like rainy days. They make me feel invigorated. I watch the planes take off from my lobby desk and they disappear into the clouds almost immediately.
Visitors and employees are tracking water all over my lobby floor; thoughtless bunch that they are... Hopefully no one will slip & fall on it...at least not until after my shift is over & it would become someone else's problem & paperwork to do.
Mom's Christmas / Birthday gifts are out of the way now. Everyone else will probably end up with gift cards - Dad especially since he never seems to want anything & has no interest in what he gets. All he does is work, eat & sleep. That's it. No hobbies, Interests.....doesn't do anything for fun. "All Work & No Play-itis" going on here. What do you get for someone who doesn't do anything, want anything, have an interest in anything or need anything other than what he already has? It's irritating in a way.....
My brother just wants DVD's of old TV shows. I have no idea which sets he already has, so he's probably going to Gift Card City too.....
I suppose this thing called Christmas would be much more enjoyable if my family weren't so difficult.
It's still raining outside [Better NOT be raining INSIDE!!] It looks tranquil & soothing. Gray comfy peaceful clouds as far as the eye can see...at least from here in the lobby....
