November 8th. Wow. Not a whole lot is going on in my little world today, but I feel like writing something anyway. Today is supposed to be around 90 - 91 degrees. Typical for November?? Nope. We're supposed to be dropping down to the low 80's in the next few days, or so the voice coming out of my radio-thingy tells me. Maybe I'll start looking for my coats & sweaters now...or not.
Work is kinda getting on my nerves today, but I'm not sure I can effectively express it in words. Maybe I'll try later after my mind gets back into focus.
The bills are piling up a bit & the bank account is running low. It's amazing how often these 2 conditions seem to work together so well....and so often. It's frustrating to live like this - even after cutting back on non-essentials like I have over the past couple of months. Is it all really worth the bother? I'm still trying to figure that one out....
I won't even begin to go into the fun going on at the parent's place. My brother is being...uhh....I suppose "difficult" would be a good word for it. It's about as dysfunctional as it could possibly be over there & I don't see any improving anytime soon. My stress level goes through the roof every time I find myself over there. NO FUN!
I suppose I'm just tired of the "rat race" and all that goes with it. Life should be more than what I am enduring. I'm not thinking "Non-Stop Excitement", but something a little closer to it would be nice once in a while. I know I need to get out more often - which would be do-able if finances were in better shape.
