1:46PM - First Look

Filled out the buerocratic mountain of forms, got my keys & saw my new "Tower Keep" yesterday afternoon. It's 110 fewer feet than the place I'm leaving, but I'm not overburdened with furniture, so it shouldn't be too bad. Due to the doorways being narrower than I remembered, I may have to re-think some of my floorplans. The view from the windows isn't bad. The cat & bird should find many things to keep their attentions focused.
The kitchen area is actually smaller than my last place - which I didn't think was possible. Still....I think I can work around some of the downsides.
Small boxes of stuff will be migrating over during the course of the week & the BIG STUFF goes on the following weekend (29th & 30th). 3 flights of stairs should be lots of fun. My desk will probably be the most profanity-inducing item of the bunch.

You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.

I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.
