Hi again.
Had another ho-hum night on the hamster wheel last night. The high point was checking one of my buildings out in East Mesa & having the transformer out in front of the building (on top of the pole) "blow up". I haven't heard that hearing loss inducing "Ka-BOOM since my APS days.... It was a nice diversion. I like dark places anyway, so.....
Aside from that, life goes on as always.
Boxes of new stuff have been showing up at work. New uniforms & stuff for the cars. Rumor says that the new decals & accessories will be put on the cars on Thursday. We get a light bar on the roof too. "How Special". Nothing makes a plain ordinary Security Patrol driver feel so important as having those flashy lights on the car. I wonder if I can flip them on & go through red lights like the cops do.... I don't think I'm gonna try that. With MY luck......
Sometime this weekend, I hope to get out & brave the mall(s) & see if "retail therapy" gets me into the holiday spirit. Canned muzak, decorations, a few thousand crazed consumers & no parking spaces within walking distance. Works for me!!
What's with all the "Coin Laundromats"?? I thought Money Laundering was illegal???
