Miami Zoo Hosts Poop Exhibit

MIAMI - Meadow muffins. Guano. Feces. Solid waste. Kaka.
The words for poop are endless, but the Miami Metrozoo has another term to add to the list: educational.
Now on display is a 5,000-square-foot exhibit on excrement titled "The Scoop on Poop," which invites visitors to explore the science of scat. The exhibit is filled with photos of animals in some of their most indelicate moments. Stool sample models abound: haylike football-sized balls (elephant), kidney-bean-looking pellets (porcupine) and coallike lumps coated with fur (black bear).

Since it's been around a week without a "real" entry from me, I guess I could write one now. Spent yesterday morning over at the parent's place trying to figure out why Mom's Outlook Express wasn't working. Mom gets REALLY cranky when her e-mail doesn't work...I wonder why....
Got that taken care of (I hope) and made a jaunt over to Ozzy's place to "liberate" my chocolate raspberry daisies. We lounged around outside & talked & looked at some pictures she had taken. Sooooo nice outside lately.
Prior to all this, my week (all 4 days of it heehee) went annoyingly well. It was even more "routine" than ordinary. I suppose I really can't complain about that since I'm not running around like a crazed chicken on a freeway (video game flashback...sorry). I suppose what bothers me about this is that I KNOW that it won't stay like this. When will this occupational bliss bubble go "POP" and leave in its wake something that I WILL be complaining about. Perhaps the meeting on Wednesday morning will give me more of an idea. The meeting is at 6:00am & supposed to be around 45 minutes (like I believe THAT!!) Since my shift is over at 5:30am, that works out well. I'd hate to have to come in to work on a day off just to sit through a 45 minute Staff Meeting at 6 in the morning.
Cat & Bird are doing OK. Parent's dogs are doing OK. Parents & Brother are doing as well as their attitudes will allow. Bill has a new job that he started last Tuesday. It's only $9.00/hr, but he likes it. He doesn't have to drive as far as before, so that saves gas, which isn't bad.
I have 2 games on my computer that have caused me many wasted hours lately. 1 is "Bejeweled 2" and the other is "Polar Bowler". Time seems to disappear quickly when I'm playing those..,,*sigh*
