Which Egyptian God or Goddess do you represent? (Pictures!)

Sekhmet, Goddess of War
Sekhmet means She who is powerful. She was a mighty ancient Egyptian goddess, who was the daughter of Ra, and was known as the Eye of Ra. Though known as the goddess of war, Sekhmet was known as the power that protects the good and annihilates the bad. She was meant to destroy the men that rebelled against her father, Ra. She destroyed them with such fury, that Ra feared she might exterminate the entire race.

As for you, I'd say you have a pretty good personality. You know humans cannot be trusted, and you are hesitant to do things, so you stick up for yourself and others well. Just watch that temper of yours and life should be great.

Another glorious week...down the drain. (Now I got that Roto-Rooter jingle in my head...great....). Not much in the way of news from my front in the war... I talked with my sporatic friend Kurt yesterday. Nice to hear he's still alive. We talked for a little while. Good to have some variety...
Talked with Tim earlier. His legs were sore after our jaunt underground last Saturday. He said he was feeling his age...He had turned 40 last May. Do I have THIS to look foreward to?? I certainly hope not!! I have yet to get to the end of the lava tube. Someday...even if I have to go myself...I'll do it.
Hopefully this winter, I'll get back up to the Grand Canyon. I have lived here for almost 40 years...I have been to the Canyon at least a dozen times...BUT I have yet to be there when it's got snow all over the place. Of course, since I don't relish the thought of driving around on snowy, icy roads...maybe THAT's why.... It's a few months away for that anyway, so no need to dwell on it now.

My schedule for the coming week seems to have me on P-2 all week. Not sure how the rest of the shifts are gonna work out, but I'm not the scheduler (anymore), so I ain't worryin' about that either...
Had a good night last night. One of our temporary clients' contract cancelled and I have 9 fewer site hits to do. It was nice not having to rush around as much as I have been over the last couple of months. The way it works out, I am still at 40 hours, yet the shift times have altered slightly. I can live with it.

There is a movie out that I really (for some reason) want to see. It is called "The Departed" w/ Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon & Jack Nicholson. I haven't seen a good "crime movie" in a looooong time. Maybe tomorrow....

Other than that, not much is going on in my little world today. We got rained on pretty good this morning. Rain (Thunderstorm) in October is a bit rare, but VERY nice to see. My lights flickered once, but stayed on.

Happy Birthday (that would have been) to actress Carole Lombard. I hope you & Clark are happy up there!!
