I suppose I should be wrapping gifts now instead of writing stuff in here...since I just concluded a successful hunting expedition in search of the rare and mysterious creature known as "scotch tape". I have practically no available room on the floor or table to wrap stuff and the thought of having to move a bunch of stuff isn't very appealing. I could say that I'm having an attack of lazyness. I'd really rather go to bed and get some sleep, but....I know that wouldn't be the best of ideas at this time since I would be more rushed later than I am now.
My pound cake experiment this year was a chocolate / peppermint creation. I sampled one soon after it came out of the oven and it wasn't too bad. It made me wish I had a nice hot cup of tea to go along with it, but I didn't feel like putting out the effort. My kitchen is now a major mess and I dread the thought of having to go in there one of these days and clean. I think I was just made to suffer....
Anyway, I spent some time at Ozzy's house and had a decent time with her, Hubby, Roomie, hyper kids, Grammie & Mother-in-Law. After I left there, I went over to Scottsdale to drop some stuff off with the soon-to-be-ex. Then I went to Jeff's place and dropped off some stuff there. The "Middle of the Night Delivery Service" AKA "OwlPost" strikes again.
Now I am back at my place and trying to get up the energy to wrap things without falling asleep in the middle of it all. I'm sure the cat wouldn't let that happen...not with her "helping"....
