Okay, the thing is, my mother wants to throw me a graduation party. OUr plans are all sorts of messed up. i wanted something low -key, or like a mad hatter tea party. she wants a bash. so i am having a small brunchy type thing with family and a few friends. later in the day my mother's friends are going to storm the house. I don't expect people I know and like to come, however, because that means you would drive up to poolesville and back again, or something. But if you want you can. I know it sounds stupid. so i'm just doing this by word of mouth. talk to me for more info.

I tried to tell her i really don't want a party with nothing but her friends and she got very very angry.

I don't know if I can get away with just bailing out on it all.

the thing is, I'm not good at parties. I'm worse at masses of people in our house. I spend the night away in my room. My room doesn't have a door, but the only reason i don't stay in a guest room with a door is because i'm quite paranoid about people going into my room and messing around when i'm not in it.
I also feel really that our house gets really crowded. And our house is kinda small. Even if we went to my cousin's house, i'd still feel weird.

We haven't had a party for me in the house since maybe 7th or 8th grade. if that.

ah.. so, I guess, you can come rock out at my house after graduation, cause I do live in rockville and all, and if you don't I will forgive you.

So I am back from the Sustainability Forum about Peak Oil and the Environment, and if you're wondering where I am the next two days that's it, with a bunch of other envirokids.. and a lot more grown up envirokids. It was cool (if hearing the truth is cool.. depressing but cool).

we have like 20 days left of school.

how can we be having group drama?

Actually, I usually don't like making fun of other group's drama or other people's. Not that I don't do it, I know I do. But I'd like to think that I also face the person if i can, if their actions are bothering me.. Or I stop thinking the way I do about them and go back to positive vibes and what not. Maybe that makes me seem.. I don't know, not as deep and angsty and cynical.. or realistic.
Why are people so messed up lately? outside of this group drama.. which i alwmost don't want to talk about because i'm not really right in it, so i don't want to make anything worse for no reason.
but outside:
-lawa scholarship people being slightly less bitchy.. sort of
-someone stole my mom's shampoo and towel at the gym. Who the hell steals a towel and shampoo? wtf?

i celebrated easter for the first time! ^_^
it was adorkable! I decorated eggs and found twelve and got a basket and a lamb and a picture of simon and I. ^_^
then we really were going to go to temple, I swear, but i somehow fell asleep and simon let me sleep. for like three hours. by then it was too late. I'm a little mad. but i guess i should have tried harder not to fall asleep.
It was a good day though, spent with my simon, but of course I went home eventually, and of course it all went to shit.

I realized I missed the date for my financial aid stuff but i'm hoping arcadia will take it a month late anyways.

Anyways i have been productive, i guess. but that's mostly because i have a million things to do. All i really want to do is untangle my yarn and reconstruct some shirts. Mostly what I want to is go back to falling asleep at simons (maybe minus the going to temple thing.. and a cat or two) and wake up this fall at Arcadia.

anyways the play was fine overall.
grades: i think i have a d in english. i got a c in apes (expletives deleted) and everything else is As and Bs that i deserve.

my spring break is not great so far, but i did go see arcadia university with my mother and my cousin jenny. I think I'm going to go with Arcadia! it's a neat school with more stuff around it in the town than lynchburg, or eckerd. well eckerd is st petersburg but it's a little set back from the town. which i thought i would like but i realized i can't walk anywhere. arcadia's also a bit closer. but my first semester i can spend abroad! seriously. with other arcadia kids. in SCOTLAND. and all my credits transfer properly and all. It's great. It means i won't come back as often as i would, but there's second semester, it'll be ok!
hehe.
I got the least amount of scholarship money to arcadia than to LC or EC, but i'll be paying off a bunch of loans anyways, it's not a big deal. I also got into their honors program.
arcadia has a castle! you can even stay in it! it's also next to a graveyard. The thing is, in Glenside pretty much everything is next to a graveyard, a funeral home, or a church- or some combination of the three. I thought florida was where you go to die, but i've found out PA is where you go to repent and die.
And although i didn't meet a lot of students like I did at lynchburg.. well I met the students at lynchburg and i'm not sure how well I'd fit in with them. I think i'd fit better at Arcadia. Especially because I remember Amy saying once that the kids she knew at arcadia were like the drama kids, only a college full of them! Although she's studying theater and I'll probably be doing biology or environmental studies. Still.

Well so anyways, I'm going to Arcadia University, I guess!
I've got to rifle through my stuff and see if i have study abroad forms to fill out, plus cancel my lynchburg deposit and send it to arcadia, plus send in extra financial aid stuff i missed somehow..

and clean my room..
and clean the basement..
and get started on my entire senior project as well as my english project.

so bittersweet. I should have written my senior speech, I had so much to say. but it's okay; it doesn't last anyways. nothing does.
After scaring the crap out of us some, i made it about two seconds to curtain. and every show was great. the corn fell down, the surrey creaked, and a prop broke and alli cut her ear on it and bled on a haybale, but she carried it off well and it was all amazing. Good job everyone.

I also made IMF, GO ME! although it's my last show so it's kinda weird. but still awesome ^_^ and this was my first show where i didn't feel tired and woozy all the time (well maybe kinda woozy from all that green spraypaint), even as a sailor in my first minor role.. and it being the end of quarter too!
on that note i have ANOTHER C in APES. AGAIN, I HAVE A 79%. fucking hell.

on a happier note today is for seeing the laramie project and also joe has blue pubes!! BLUBES!!
