Joaquin Phoenix is love. He won a Golden Globe, and was one of three men who deserved an Academy Award if they HAVE to give those fuckers out, but as usual the stars fucked it up. Jon Stewart was FUNNY. Here's an MSNBC article on the stuck-up celebrities, and, honest to goodness, Joaquin did not look constipated OR unmoved. I taped it! He clapped for Matt Dillon and then smiled! He was grinning the whole time.
Reese Witherspoon is LIFE. That girl is too lovely!
Walk The Line was really awesome. I remember being so excited about it and then falling out of love when it came out. My mom's going to buy it - I'm excited. I would watch it all day. I'm going to get the soundtrack, I'm so in love! That duet with Joaquin and Reese, "It Ain't Me, Babe," kicks ass! The White Countess was unusual, away from the usual movie lineage, but really good also. My favorite movie theater dish is hot raspberry tea and Junior Mints! AUGH!
