: Today just might be your lucky day
This is one of those days where everything just seemed to go my way.
My projects at work were going well and earning tremendous praises from everyone (and I haven't even applied the chroma key yet!). I managed to diagnose a problem on someone's computer before the tech support could. And when one of my friends was having a really bad backache, I was able to put my fingers on the trouble spot immediately, and within a few moments, had brought her near-instantaneous relief.
Yes, today was just going my way. Everything I touched was turning to gold. So much so, that my friends only had one thing to say to me - go buy a lottery ticket!!
And that's exactly what I did. I threw in a buck, and pulled out a quick pick for tonight's drawing.
There was just one catch...
I had to show my ID... Yes, I'm 26 years old, and I just got carded to buy a lottery ticket.
