8:07pm: Apeture Science. We do what we must because we can. Part 1
I've been taking the acidophilus powder since Saturday. And while this is too soon to determine if it's helping my colon, it's more than enough time to announce the first set of results from my pseudo-scientific study. I call it, 'No matter what I mix this in, it can't possibly be worse than yogurt.'

And given that one of my friends takes the same supplement by sprinkling it like salt on her hummus and crackers, I can safely say that this experiment will continue. Maybe even with a personal grant. But only if I stick to the Pseudo-Scientific Method.

Hypothesis:
Conveniently, this is the same as the title: No matter what I mix this in, it can't possibly be worse than yogurt.

Materials:
acidophilus powder supplement
1/4 teaspoon
cup
beverage of choice

Procedure:
- Take bottle out of the refrigerator, and measure out approximately 1/4 teaspoon.
- Sprinkle that amount into beverage of choice.
- Stir quickly, so that powder dissolves.
- Drink quickly.

The first set of results are as follows:

Orange Juice: This is going to be my morning dose, just because it's easy. But also because it tastes good. You don't notice the milky flavor of the powder, just the flavor of the orange juice. The downside is that it tends to clump at the bottom.

Apple Juice: Comparatively, not so good. The milky flavor doesn't go too well with the smooth apple taste. Granted, it's not a bad flavor. One just isn't enough to enhance the other, in either direction.

Sunny Delight: Surprisingly, this was my favorite. It had the sweet tang of the orange juice, and no milky flavor at all. As an added bonus, I found that the powder dissolved better in the Sunny Delight than in any of the other choices.

That's all I've tried so far. But there are still plenty of beverages, maybe even food, to choose from. And as long as they're cold, they're fair game. And this experiment will continue.
