Maybe it's a good thing I had one, though. Because I wandered over to the A-Kon web site, only to learn that entry forms are already being accepted for the cosplay contest. And unlike every year before, they're wanting all the entries turned in ahead of time... as in by April 3. And with the call for entries opening this week, I just hope I've got a spot!!

My Ryuk costume is about 25% done, and as long as I continue to make steady progress, I should be all right.
