I went out to get new glasses yesterday. And $500 later, I'm having glasses, sunglasses and sports goggles made for me. This normally wouldn't be so amusing... but then they typed my ophthalmologist's name into their system, and it pulled up some rather unusual data...
It placed him on a street called 'Some Where'

Not even close. My ophthalmologist is certainly not located in Japan. He's not even Japanese. But it is rather amusing.
Far more amusing than learning that I don't really have dry eyes. My eyes aren't dry. They just feel dry, because my allergies are affecting the mucous membranes behind the eye. It turns out, allergies don't just create watery, runny eyes. Sometimes it produces the sensation of dry eyes instead.
