Well today is really busy at work, this is the only time I get to write, on my lunch. Come to think about it this whole week has been busy. Things are going great. My husband and the girls went to the city today and bought an above ground pool, it is the same one we had at our old house. So sis if you come down during summer or early fall, the girls can swim. I have a feeling once we put it up, we will have friends over all the time. That will be ok with me. Infact after work I think I will go pick up some drinks, I think we are going to have a bbq on sunday.
Well this weekend I hope we get to go pick up the couches, they are nice, I got to see them from pictures, I need to call my friend and let her know, she isn't in today, she had a meeting to attend.
The boss says I'm getting a raise, I will really get two because he is giving me one now and then in october, the other one will take plcae. I know I deserve it. The funny hting is with elections around the corner, I had to think about the possibility that I could of lost my job, but with him giving me a raise, I know I'm not going to lose it otherwise he wouldn't give me one. So for at least another 4 years, I could still be here, if I want to.
The girls are doing great I think my soon to be 13 year old is finally coming to that age, wear girls things are happening. That is scary. I noticed a few body changes, and I think this weekend, I will have to sit and chat with her about it.
The twins are the same, they still get in trouble, infact they lost all activities for the summer. I think if they can behave I will put them back in. Who knows, I guess it all depends on them and how important it is to them.
The rodeo is back in town this weekend and I think I will take the girls to see the barrell racing tonight. I know we won't have time tomorrow and it will end tomorrow, so we will go tonight. My husband has to work a double shift tonight, he is going into his next phase, so he will start work at 3pm and not get off till 7am. then he starts working 11pm to 7am. We will see how that goes.
I do like my new truck, although I was upset with the dealership after driving it for some time, I have grown to love it. It is really easy to drive and it will save even more than the suv in gas. So in the long run, I will be saving money. It is about time.
Well I must go for now, I need to look through the book that me sister sent to see if I want to order more stuff (stuff I don't need). talk more later |
