Well, the news is out
Well, alot, yet not much at all has happened in the last couple of weeks. The twins turned 9 and boy they seem to be growing up so fast. On there birthday they got to show thier goats and they were so excited. This past weekend, we had our last show for my oldest, she shows sheep. After the show, she had to give them up and keep in mind she worked with these 2 for the last 10 months at least twice a day, for 1-3 hours. She was so attached to them, needless to say, she cried, I cried and my husband well up with tears, it was a sad day for our family.
Today one of the twins gets braces, she is so excited, she can't wait. Unfortunately, she will have to have them for quite some time. Today will be a short day at work, I will leave at noon to take her to another city to get them done. I will spoil her with a starbucks after, so she will feel special.
My husband has asked his previous employer for his job back, the department is going before the hiring board this morning, so we will see, how it goes. I guess I am alright with it, anything can be worked out, who knows what shift he will get, but any will have to work for the family. We do need the steady income, no doudt. We won't owe taxes this year so it has saved us an enormous amount of money, you could only imagine. I was so thrilled to hear that, so now all we have to do is get our financial situation straight. He can train dogs on the side and work full time for the department again. I mixed feelings about it, but what can I do? I think now I am full proof on any type of shock, I have been through so much in the last year and a half, I just don't think I could be shocked anymore.
I guess we shall see how this will turn out. I will try and keep you updated.
