i saw the butterfly effect today, on our SNOW DAY! it was much better than i thought it would be, really interesting, i don't really feel like explaining it all now though, go see it. today we had a snow day, even though it wasn't that big of a storm, it was a good day for a snow day. Extreme weather is supposedly a good oppurtunity for good stories, here's my shot at a good story:

Today I went to get a haircut and my mom gave me a ride, on my way out she told me i was stupid for not wearing boots and how my feet would get cold and how i would get sick, as usual i tuned her out, but she was getting mad and told me to bring a spare pair of socks (haha), so just to shut her up i took the socks with me). Well this isn't really a story, but all day i was carrying a pair of socks around in my pocket, and my feet didn't even get wet, my mom is so stupid sometimes.

Yea i'm sure everyone cares so much about that. I can't wait for sunday!!!!!! STRETCH ARM STRONG, COMEBACK KID, EVERGREEN TERRACE and ON THE RISE @ KNITTING FACTORY!! it should be very very good, i can't wait to see comeback kid, i've never seen them. My girlfriend also wrote me the sweetest letter :), i love her so much. Ok the end.

sucks. i don't mean to sound cliche or anything but it really does, it's so fucking boring. every monday i wake up and wish it were friday. and most people's days end at 3, mine ends at like 6 or 7 because of fucking basketball! i recently had a revelation - if i don't give a shit about playing basketball, or care why my coach thinks of me... why should i go to practice?

exactly - i shouldn't. he scheduled practice on saturday at 10 am - hahaha won't be there.

on another note, i've been to a lot of good shows recently and a lot of good shows are coming up. two weeks ago i saw BANE/KILL YOUR IDOLS/MODERN LIFE IS WAR twice in one weekend! it was fucking great - once at bloomfield ave. cafe with forward to death, the spark and mother night and then at cbgb with inhuman, the backup plan and forward to death... both amazing shows. this sunday is SICK OF IT ALL with subzero, vision, step2far, charge and skizonation at cbgb - first time SOIA has played cb's in 7 years, it should be fucking awesome! midterms are next week but to be honest my only motivation is to not get grounded for not doing well.

well this year my family decided to spend thanksgiving at a family friends house. i must say i was skeptical about this at the beginning, but it all turned out pretty well. we got there at about 4:30 and as usual the turkey took longer than expected, but it was definitely worth it... the turkey was damn good. there were two people there who i didn't know and they were quite strange, but in a nice way. i don't know how many fucking times this one guy asked how tall i was and kind of just stared at me (not in a gay way, just a weird way). the dinner conversation was a typical upper west side liberal intellectual conversation (i.e. - putting down george bush, talking about colleges etc.). but after the dinner the conversation kind of strayed from that topic and got into the paris hilton sex tape (haha don't ask). everyone was pretty drunk by that time and the guy who kept saying how tall i was had cranberry sauce hanging in his beard, which was quite amusing. his wife then scolded him for having food in his beard and everyone laughed. this guy then started telling dirty jokes. for example: why does hellen keller masturbate with one hand? she needs the other hand to moan. then i unleashed a priest joke that was recieved by laughter from everyone but the man who told the hellen keller joke (i dont know why). the joke was what is the difference between a priest and acne? a priest cums on your face before you're 13. so aside from the amusing conversation and great food, i finally got to make our demo tape into MP3's (they'll be up soon at http://leftuntouched.expage.com) and we saw Bad Santa - holy shit it was so fucking funny. i had pretty low expectations going into this movie, but damn was i wrong... it was an amazing movie, non stop laughter. so yea that was basically my thanksgiving.. hope yours was good!

last night i went to see stretch armstrong's video shoot with evergreen terrace, bear vs. shark and burns out bright.. bear vs shark and burns out bright were both horrible. and the whole video shoot thing was weird but kids went nuts, they made kids go nuts for the CD playing. welll during evergreen terrace i was getting my mosh on and then someone kicked me in the quad and i pulled a muscle, which still fucking hurts. but that didn't stop me from going wild for stretch armstrong (which i shouldnt have done).. so yea i didnt do shit today and i feel like complete shit. i dont wanna go to school tomorrow, i just wanna pass out and sleep forever. and since these things r fun ill do another one:
