I've been thinking about solitude and the conception that isolation leads to insight. I've been of the belief in the past that there were times when I needed to withdrawl from the world around me. To submerg myself in the processes of self and to see what would emerge.
I think that I may have been wrong and in a selfish fashion.
There is an importance to an appreciation of self ...but as long as we are a part of this world we must give it it's respect as well. All the people and happenings of the world have a bearing upon us that withdrawl denies in a childish way.
I need to open my eyes more ...but I'm not quite sure how.
