how do I have this talk with Anthony?
"Ant, I know Jill asked you for a raise, but I don't think she should get one."
"Why?"
"It's not that she doesn't deserve one, we all do. It's just that I know where she's going to spend her money."
". . ."
"Anthony, the only reason Jill needs a raise is because she spent $300 on coke and roxys in the past 3 days."
Yeah, Jill would hate me forever and this would be an awkward convo to have with Ant anyway. So this conversation is not going to happen, Jill is going to get her raise, and then she will burn out or die.
And it will be my fault.
