So.... Japanese classes have began .... blardy intensive...3 f'kin hours a day for 10 weeks... it's gonna take a whole load of discipline and commitment for me to do well. and that's one of my mission this summer break.
this time, i'm more motivated and with ample time to focus a bit more on it.
taking it as an optional module in my 1st semester proved costly but useful?
i had 5 other modules to take care of..and boy they weren't easy...as such i failed to study well for it. and thus struggled..to pass barely...w/c basically screwed up my average...damn! >_<
well i guess the good thing is it was a good intro to the language.... and it would be nice to sorta get a grasp on another language.
anyway...the class is in blardy orchard...freakin packed the whole time.... its insane..the mrts...i'm getting a glimpse on how a typical working day in s'pore is like...would i want to experience such a thing in the future? i dunno...
yes, the only filipino in the small class of 10.
blardy bugger commented on the 1st day....he was not convinced i was a filipino!!!
because I was FAIR!!!! aargh...i get described as FAIR by a guy..... wth... i was stumped and was not sure how to react...i'm not a violent person so i didn't whack him or anything...lol
anyway.. he said that aren't filipinos like brownish/dark??? i was like...well... we generally are...but hey... we've got fair skinned people too....hello???
wow...did my stay in UK made me a bit fair??? i don't use Dove or any whitening shit btw... but ya, i guess this experience tells me i better hit the basketball court more often at broad daylight...:P |
