  Internships:

looks like it ain't gonna happen at all...whether it be in Manila, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. nope. zilch.

it's hopeless...

Singapore:
-no word at all from mom's network.
-need work visa. (though it shouldn't take that long if company did it on behalf of you)

Malaysia:

- seems companies not looking for summer interns. they tend to prefer one year industrial placements and cater more for fresh graduates.

-yes, work visa.

Manila

- no word at all from ninong

- rainy season (Mom thinks i can't survive alone in Manila...)

-accomodation. pretty expensive. even if it's just 2 months. i mean u want to live near the working place. i would really hate to commute that far just to get to work.

so ya, that's about it. It seems i'll be having a typical summer....just self-learning, chill, tv....all those recreational bits. last summer i took up speedreading. wonder what i could study this summer. it seems my mom is pushing me to continue japanese. I think i'll do that. my decision to take up japanese screwed my average in first semester. i like the speaking bit, but the writing bit proved costly for me.

ah yes, 3 more papers and i smell freedom.

hello scotland next week. :D

and soon....Home sweet home. alas, i bid thee farewell UK. In the words of recently retired Indiana Pacer's Reggie Miller, 'It was a great ride." Indeed it was.

heh, hope to blog more after exams and into the weekend. i just wanna blog, forums, and blog surf. i missed out quite a bit due to exam month. oh, and start writing articles again for halfway. missed out on writing for June's edition.... hmmm...now what to write about? any ideas?

feel so drained. i seem lifeless these days. 2 more papers...and 2nd year is all over. omfg.

flunked econometrics. wtf. clearly this is not my cup of tea. somehow symbols and numbers is like a totally bizarre language.

amazing how a few pages of questions can drain you of lifeforce.

massage..me thinks need I.
